*an open letter to my future husband*

To the one I love the most,

First off - if you are reading this I think it is the day before our marriage or wedding day. When I think about my future with you, my stomach fills with all the good types of butterfly. As I assume we are on our 30s now and so in love with each other. At this time I think I am an engineer already and you? Ahm..maybe a doctor? A chef? A pilot? Or maybe an engineer also? Oh what a perfect concept if we are both engineers right? We can build our dream houses together and even build our future with each other. Above all, I can't wait to share my life with the person I love and cherish the most, which is you. I think you need to know what exactly you are getting into and how to keep someone like me. You don't need to do much to please me, why? Cause i am really a simple person. How? Call me beautiful always, hold my hand when we walk down the streets, court me still even if you have me already, show and tell me how much i mean to you and how much you love me. Lastly, be consistent, because for me consistency is the key to keep your girl with you. I want you to know that once we're married, you're stuck with me. There will be times when things get tough like we're thinking that divorce is the answer, but no! A BIG BIG BIG NO!! Cause we're never going to be away from each other. It will be us until death. With your flaws and all? I'm stil marrying you and no matter what happens my love for you will never stop growing. You know what? I can't wait to meet you in the aisle, and make the best memories in our lives happen already.

Love comes at the right time and at the right place with the right person. This story will start on the day, when i met my one great love, who I want to be with for the rest of my life. He is no other than Maximo Gabrielle Mari Elyke Bates. First of all I don't really know why I fell in love with him, cause he's not that handsome, he's not really my ideal guy or my type, but maybe that's what love can do. You fall for the very unexpected person even if you want it or not.

August 31, 2001 at UP DILIMAN CAMPUS

* First day of school* Everyone was already on their seats and the teacher starts discussing already but wait.... there is one seat at the back that is vacant and suddenly a guy came at the door while having a hard time breathing because of running fast just to be on time to attend the class. "Mr. Bates, it is the first day of school and you are already late *sigh* go take the vacant seat." Our professor said. The prof. asked us to introduce ourselves one by one, and now its my turn to introduce my self but I'm shaking, like I'm really nervous because i don't know anyone from the class. "Ahmm.. I.. am..ahm" *introducing myself while stammering*

Max: Oh my gosh, you don't know your name? *laugh* hmm what if I just call you mine?

*everyone laughs*

Prof: Stop that Mr. Bates!! Go on Ms.

Elizabeth: I'm Elizabeth Kyla Francine Abrogina, 18 years old, from Brgy. Matabungkay, Manalo St. Manila

Prof: How about you Mr. Bates AKA "Mr. ALWAYS LATE."

Max: I'm Yours *pointing at Elizabeth*

Everyone: Yiiiieeeee

Max: I'm Maximo Gabrielle Mari Elyke, 20 years old, from Brgy. Matabungkay, Cannova St. Manila. Yes Ms. Eliza I'm just in your neighborhood, so I can fetch and accompany you always, anytime I want.

*Going back on his seat "Mr. Always late" winked at me, like he really likes me.* To be honest, i find him cute and annoying at the same time.

*next day morning* in our front door, i saw Max. Standing there, waiting for me to come out of our house so he can accompany me to school. I was planning to use the back door to escape from him because it feels so awkward if I will go to the school with him, but then he saw me, and shouted "Eliza!! Don't you dare not come here or I will fetch you everyday and tell everyone we are together." So I guess, I have no choice now but to go with him. While I walk towards him he smiles widely like he is so happy that I'm going to school with him.
