To Pretty?

New Student

"come up" The teacher said while gesturing  the new student to the front of the classroom

All of sudden a girl with blue hair and purple contacts came to the front of the classroom, she wore round glasses and she seemed very shy. She got to the front of the class and waved, it seemed she didn't want to talk to us, she was really nervous you could see her hands shaking with fear.

"Introduce yourself Madeline" The teacher said putting her hand on her shoulder

"I-I'm Madeline V-Vines..." she muttered.

"A little louder honey" The teacher asked her.

"I'm Madeline Vines" She told the class.

"I just moved here from Wyoming" She told us

Suddenly hearing her name and where she just moved from made everything click, I had a friend back in grade school named Madeline Vines but when going into 3rd grade she had to move away to Wyoming, we had promised each other that we would meet again we wore best friend earrings so that  when we saw each other we would know that it's us. So I decided to raise my hand.

The teacher called on me "yes Sora" 

At that moment Madeline looked in shock maybe she thought it was me! My name is very unique and probably not someone you would meet everyday.

"Hi Madeline, I'm Sora Cupal. Did you go to Northview Elementary school?" I asked Madeline

"Yes I did, are you Sora the girl who we promised that we'd meet again when I came  back to Northview Montana?" She replied showing me her earings that she was wearing which were the best friend earrings, I took mine out of my pocket and put them on and showed her. The teacher yelled at us and told her to sit down.

***********************************AFTER SCHOOL*******************************

Landon was waiting for me when school ended and then I asked if we could wait for my childhood friend Madeline.

"hey Landy! Can we wait for my childhood friend, Madeline?" I asked landon

"Sure why not" He said

We were waiting for about 10-15 minutes and she finally came out she saw us but looked away and went the other way.

"Sorry Sora, I need to go home" Landon told me, then kissed me on the cheek.

I decided to go find out why Madeline didn't come to us, so I followed her when she got to the park she was there and Cara came over to her. I decided to go a little bit closer so I can hear what they were saying.

"Hey new girl~" Cara said to her while picking herself up from a bench

"Hi?" Madeline replied

"So your friends with Sora vines right?" Cara asked  her

"Yeah we've been friends since grade school" She replied

I was happy that she said we're friends, but I had a bad feeling about what cara was gonna tell her though. I was right what I heard next was shocking!

"Sora is so mean now she is a stuck up pretty brat who gets what she wants always!" She told Madeline

"Really?" she questioned Cara.

"mhm she bullied me in the bathroom this morning and she is cheating on her boyfriend with a TEAC-" I cut her off in her sentence, Cara shouldn't have been telling my friend all these lies about me!

"Shut up Cara, You know that isn't true!" I yelled to Cara. She turned her head in anger, she was frustrated.

"You were the one who bullied me in the bathroom this morning!" As I showed both of them the bruises on my legs and arms

"BUT IT'S UNFAIR! You're pretty and popular and everyone loves you, YET I am like nobody! YOU TAKE THE SPOTlIGHT  FROM EVERYONE!" She yelled at me! She sounded like a 3 year old who acts like nothing good ever happens to them! 

"Then take the stupid spotlight you be the pretty, popular girl in the school! Because I DON'T WANT TO!" I Yelled then stormed home

I wasn't ready for what would happen when I got home I opened the door
