I'll see you on the other side (You're my hero)

So this is it

Izuku Midoriya glanced down, just one step and it would be over. The bullying, everything, just one step Midoriya, just one step and it'll all be over. Maybe what Kacchan said was true maybe she would come back with an awesome quirk. Just when she was about to step off she heard her only friend call out to her. "Izuku! what do you think you're doing?" Izuku turned around and faced her best friend Hitoshi. "Hitoshi is it true that before you die life flashes before you eyes?" she paused before starting again, "thanks for being my friend and being there when no one else would, I know you'll become a great hero." 

Hitoshi looked at his friend and her broken eyes, tears were slowly streaming down her face. But he could still stop her. "Izuku-

"Thank you Hitoshi for everything, i'lll forever be in your debt" and with that Izuku took her last step and fell into abyss. 

"Izzzzzzuuuuuukkkkkkkkkuuuuuuu Noooooooooooooo!!!!!" Hitoshi ran to the edge and watching as her body descended at an alarming rate. 

11 months earlier, and 3 weeks, and 6 days

Hitoshi Shinso entered his new school, Aldera Junior high. He went to his classroom and sat down in an empty desk area. Class starts in 10 minutes, and just then the door flew open in a blast an fiery ash blond haired boy stormed up to his desk, "what's your quirk *******?!" 

Shinso didn't reply he knew this kid, Katsuki Bakugo. He knew him in middle school, and man Bakugo didn't change.

Flashback

Hitoshi Shinso POV (well not really)

It was his first day at this middle school  he quickly entered in the classroom and sat down. SLAM! Hitoshi looked up in surprise, a pair of red eyes were staring at him in full rage. 

"What 's your ******* quirk? "

Hitoshi didn't say anything

"Hey jerk didn't you hear me, what's your  ******* quirk? I bet it's not better than mine."

"Stop Kacchan!" 

Hitoshi whirled his head around and saw a rather small girl with big round eyes speak up. She said it softly so only he and Bakugo could hear her. Bakugo turned to face her fiery evident in his eyes, "Shut up! Quirk less *****!"  With that Bakugo emitted an explosion which shoved her back 5 steps she landed on the floor with a thump. Bakugo glared at her and laughed when he saw her miserable state. Bakugo then turned to Hitoshi and go ready to use his explosion quirk again until the same girl got up and jumped in the way before Bakugo used his quirk. 

"Stop it Kacchan. That's not nice. He's new let him settle in."

Hitoshi's eyes widen she still got up even though she was injured from the previous attack and even defended him. 

"Kacchan stop" she said weakly.

Bakugo grabbed her wrist and burned her, "don't tell me what to do." Bakugo went off and sat in his seat. While the girl tried not to cry because he burned her skin around her wrist. Hitoshi looked around to see if anyone was going to stop this. The teachers didn't do anything they just looked the other way. And their classmates only laughed at the scene. 

The girl turned to face Hitoshi worry evident on her face, "are you okay? I'm sorry I wasn't here to stop him earlier. I'm Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you." 

Impossible after all that she was still concerned about him, "I'm Hitoshi Shinso, thanks for standing up for me."

Izuku smiled, "of course." She went back to sit in her seat still beaming.

Hitoshi couldn't stop himself from blushing her smile was so cute. After that incident Hitioshi and Izuku became best friends. 

end of flashback

Hitoshi didn't answer Bakugo, geez this guy has the memory of a 100year old. Speaking of Izuku, where was she. She told him earlier she was attending this school. On cue the classroom door opened again and flustered Izuku Midoriya entered breathless from running. She looked up and noticed Hitoshi and Bakugou, "Hi Hitoshi and, hi Kacchan!" Her face beamed and she greeted them cheerfully. 

Bakugo scolded and walked off to his seat, "Shut the **** up *****!" 

Izuku's smile disappeared, "sorry Kacchan, I'll try not to disturb you next time."

"Yeah whatever nerd!" 

Izuku peered at Hitoshi with concern, "are you okay?" worry was evident in her tone. Hitoshi glowered he wasn't mad at Izuku but why was she apologizing to Bakugo when she didn't do anything wrong. But now he remembered she was always like that.

Flashback (yes another flashback)  

Hitoshi Shinso POV (not really)

(After Bakugo beat up Izuku and left)

"Izuku?" Hitoshi asked.

"Yes?" she turned to face him a smile on her face. 

Hitoshi grimaced at her half burnt clothes and burn marks on her skin, she had a few places were she was bleeding to. And Hitoshi wanted to cry he didn't help her when she stood up for a kid the Bakugo was going to bully.

"Why did you defend him, he laughed at you when Bakugo bullied you! He never helped you so why did you help him?" Hitoshi shouted he couldn't understand, how could she be so nice when the world was so cruel to her. 

Izuku's smiled widened, "because Hitoshi that's what hero's do. And he never stood up for me because he was probably scared and it's okay to be scared sometimes. Besides I want to help him, to give him hope, to know he is not alone, and that I care, I want to help others with a smile on my face, like All might. No matter how bad things get I will smile so I give hope to others. 

Just by saying that Hitoshi's heart opened and he knew one thing that day. Izuku Midoriya was his hero.
