    "What do you mean? You can't abandon our mother country!"
     Percy was tired of being told what to do.
      "A lady does not fight."
       Annabeth knew that armies were not the only means of winning a war.
     "There is my chance for freedom and I'm taking it."
      Beckendorf wanted the same liberty that the colonists vowed for themselves.
"There's no way I'm helping the colonists."
Piper did not want to side with those who wanted her father's land.
"No one cares of my opinion."
Hazel had no choice, but to remain neutral.
"They killed my sister."
Nico wanted to avenge Bianca's death.
"Will, you're at the age you need to think about getting a wife."
The war was a good excuse to not get married.
       "I'm not afraid."
        Frank would fight even though he didn't want to.
