“Does anyone copy?” The sound of static is heard from the earpiece. “Yello!” Again no response. “Great… This happens! Wait where am I? Now that I think of it what time am I in?” He checks His time watch. “2010… Great the year I've never learned about… Until now I guess...” He sighs as he gets up from a grassy field. “Well my first adventure finally begins.”

(Oh wait we shouldn't be here yet let's rewind back)

Year: 22XX, April 10. A young teen kid walks around the military base. He running into headquarters. “Cadet Kuraio Frost reporting for duty ma’am!”

(Kuraio Frost, age 15, a young military cadet who was never sent for a real mission till now)

“Cadet Cry you know why I called you here right?” The Commander asked him.

“No ma’am.” Kura said stumbling in and falls onto the ground. “Sorry about the ma’am,” he said getting back up and dust off his clothes and fix his scarf.

“Well first you getting a promotion from Cadet to Specialist.” She said.

“You sure about this ma’am that's a huge leap forward?” Kura asked her kind of scared.

“Yes and you going on a mission so pack your stuff and be cautious we don't want to lose another one.” She said with a stern tone of voice.

“Y-yes ma’am!” Kura walked out of headquarters in joy. “Yes!! My first actually mission!” He wonders if he would get a team. “Maybe if I ask her I would get a team but then again that'll be asking way too much, a solo mission huh I'll gladly accept that.” Kura smiles with extreme joy and puts all his stuff in his bag. “Ok let's do this!” He walks back to headquarters with his stuff. “I wonder what this mission is about anyways?” He walks into the HQ. “Specialist  Kura reporting for duty Commander.” He said with great confidence.

“Great I love that confidence. We will be traveling back in time or try to you will be our sole Cadet/Specialist  going into this mission are you up to the task Specialist Cry?” She asked him. “More than anything mam. I will do my best on going back to the past. You’ll meet new people to join you along the way.”

He salutes and fixes his bag strap and his scarf. “Let's do this ma’am. I'll be ready for anything. But may I ask why am I going into this alone?” He ask just curiosity.

“Hmm I guess we need less people in the city.” She mumbles to herself very quietly. “The people that we tested aren't qualified to handle this type of mission.” She said.

“And so I'm qualified for this ma’am..? I'm only 15 you know that don't you ma’am?”

“Yes I know you're 15 Specialist Cry that's why we need you to do this mission.”

“May I ask what is the Mission about again ma’am? I'm sorry I have a bad memory.”

“We told you before we are sending you back in time but before we do take this” She hands him an earpiece. “This will help you contact us no matter what year you travel to.”

Kura eyes sparkled a bit. “I will take great care of this ma’am thank you!” He salutes. “I'm ready for the mission ma’am!”

*Three hours later*

Kura puts on a cybernetic suit “Um why do I have to wear this it's… Uncomfortable”

“Well we have to send you in one piece right? This suit helps out with that.” She whispered under the breath, “Probably make you a girl when you go on your mission as well.”

“What was that ma’am?” He asked because he didn’t hear what she said quietly. “I didn’t hear the last part.”

She clears her throat. “It’s nothing.. Anyways are you ready Specialist Kuraio?” She said signaling the techies to activate the portal.

The portal the to slowly activate as the turbines starts to spin. Electricity starts to spark around  the room and slowly condenses onto one location in the room. “Connection is stable, Location is destined to be set, setting up location.. All systems are online we just need a destination.”

“Set cords to year..” The machine turns off and everything goes dark. “What the heck is going on?”

“Ma’am I can’t see anything.” Kura said out of the fact that it is dark.
“Hey what’s going on we need an update.”
“The machine shut down, we don’t know why, checking up on it right now.” The machine randomly turned back on. “Just a small malfunction ma'am we need a manual reboot and it should be up and running.”

“I can do it Commander,” Kura said sitting there putting his scarf on. “I was a technician for most of my life,” He said chuckling a bit and getting up. He took a step towards the machine and disappeared out of thin air like some just took him.

 “What just happened…?”

“Why Hello Kuraio Frost and Welcome.” Said a technologic voice.
