So, you are probably wondering how I met Jaime Street. I was his roommate. I had to travel from Del Sol Valley to San Myshuno. It wasn't that long in fact it probably took about eight hours maybe. I thought I would get there first but I realized I didn't have the apartment key. So I took my sweet old time stopping for milkshakes and whatever. Then I continued my ride. While drinking my strawberry milkshake I was wondering if it was a good idea to move in with a man who is a stranger. After all, I was a bro. I feel way more comfortable around boys. Finally, I got there. The location of the place was not popular but it would have to do until I got a job. At that time I had finished college and got my degree. I wanted to be a gardener. When I stepped into the hallway I checked my phone to see what room it was. I knocked. A guy holds the door for me. He asks, "Want me to carry those bags for you? I'm strong!" "No I got it, but thank you." He politely took two bags leaving me with one. "Thank you..." "Oh, my name is Jaime Street, yours?" "Reese" I said cheerfully. "Well hello Reese!" "Hello Jaime." "You can pick any room, Reese. I will carry your bags into your room when you pick." I was dressed very messy. I had my hair in a messy bun, I wore a black and white striped crop, pj pants, and converse. Jaime however dressed casually, I guess. I went into the bedrooms, which were quite small, and picked the one that seemed more girly to me. I didn't want Jaime to be stuck in a girly room. He followed me and put the bags on the dresser while I sat on the bed. I was very tired it was about 7:46 a.m. I was very surprised that Jaime was up. "Do you want a meal? I could cook some! Or we can order pizza. What do you want?" He asked. "I'm not hungry. But thank you." As always that's what everyone says. "Well ummm I'm going to cook a salad. If you are hungry, it will be in the fridge." Jaime said politely.

I yawned. I had fallen asleep.
My eyes were squinting and I leaned over and stretched. I took my converse off. When I quietly went out of my room I looked at the stove clock. It was 12:27 p.m. I saw Jaime on the couch watching sports and I greeted him. I sat down next to him watching sports. "You like sports?" Jaime asked. "Yeah, I actually do. I love playing football, softball, kickball, baseball, and really any sport." I answered. I wasn't in a class for that or anything but I loved playing it with my father back at home. "Well that is very cool. Football is my favorite." Jaime said. After half an hour watching sports and chatting I went to the fridge. "Oh Jaime..." I thought. He ACTUALLY made salad. When people say they will make something they never do it, at least for me. I grabbed a bowl from the cabinet, took a spoon, and scooped out the salad. After all, I was on a diet. "Thank you Jaime." I said while I headed to the table. "No problem!" He answered back. He came to sit with me which was very nice. I was actually comfortable around him...we got on very well. I thought it as a "friend way" because I just don't like to date. In high school I dated a boy named Steve but it only lasted for a month. He was a cheater. Steve had cheated on me with the skinny and mean popular girl named Rileigh. I surprisingly was sad because he was one of the "bad boys" at school.

When I was thinking about that, I
moved my fork around the salad. The fun times though. Dancing and drinking having parties with electronica blaring that a neighbor in his robe knocks impatiently and yells but you are to drunk to even listen. But I was an adult. I needed to be more mature. I cleaned up my bowl and curled up in a ball on my bed. I decided to change my clothes at least. The weather was sunny so I put on a crop From Romwe and some jean shorts. Then, I put my hair up in a ponytail, putting a scrunchie with it. I was barefoot because I thought we were going no where. But I curled up in a ball bawling my eyes out. Love is not easy and you will find someone you love someday. Little did I know that someone was there the whole entire time. Then I heard the door knob opening. I quickly got up and turned my head around so Jaime wouldn't see. The door opened and Jaime said, "Reese, are you okay?" I wiped off some tears on the palm of my hand and said, "yea-yeah I'm totally fine." There was that nervous bumpy voice you get when you cry while sniffing your nose. Jaime came over and looked at me. "What's wrong-I mean I don't want to worry you anymore, but if you can tell me that's-" "Jaime" I said. I hugged him. At that point I knew we were just friends.
