ch 3: Back to the Court room

-In the ship's captain quarters, (y/n) pov-

Darkness, that's what was surrounding me as I opened my eyes. I looked down to see the ground a grey color with some black at the edges. The black edges are wrong, I can fucking feel it damn it!

I can feel as something is clawing at my mind. I see a trail forming in front of me and I tried to get away but it moved towards me. The trail was coming to me and as I it kept getting closer I started to see something in the distance. Beacon tower but it was in shambles, a red Piller was rising from it.

Then I heard the whisper's, the same goddamn fucking whispers I hear when I got close to the building, they started to get louder as the building seemed to get closer.

Shut up shut up shut up SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UPPPPPP!!!

The whisper's turned into inhuman screams, I could hear as flesh tore and reformed all around me. Then everything quieted as I was at the top of the tower. I tried to look at the Piller but my eyes started to burn and I turned to look off the tower into Vale.

...or what was left of it.

Embers were rising from the destroyed city and I could see as thousands of not millions of necromorphs wandered in the city and around beacon.

Then I heard a voice that was far too familiar.

"It's beautiful isn't it (y/n)." Velvet

I felt as arms wrapped around my neck but at the same time they felt empty and cold. I shuddered as I realized that I was covered in blood along. Her cold breath hit the right side of my face as I finally realized that this... This fucking madness was because of me.

Velvet: Don't worry (y/n) you freed the people of the horrors of the world. Became the very apostle of redemption for the brothers to free the souls of our world. You even helped our friends become free of their worries and hardships

This...this isn't velvet, how dare whoever this is try to impersonate her!

I turned but stopped as I saw the bodies of all my friends, mutilated beyond belief. Then I saw the imposter to look like velvet, bloodied and lifeless eyes staring at me. A unnerving smile on her face and her body looking charred. She took a step towards me as the shadows covered everything but her and the edge.

Velvet: This is your fate (y/n), for now we can be together for all eternity and free the souls of the universe.

I tried to back away but I found myself on the edge as she wrapped her arms around my neck. She was smiling so happily at me but then I blinked and I soon only had her bloodied box in my hand. I hesitantly opened it where I soon dropped the box and fell to my knees.

I didn't realize that I was screaming nor the tears streaming down my face. The darkness started to enclose around me as I continued to look at the open bloodied box.

...the box that contained velvet's heart with one phrase in blood.

*In the living quarters, nop*

In the living quarters the newest members were about to be given a rude awakening. Leaper's moved to a vent to each room and at once they released an inhuman screech. Everyone was soon screaming awake as they jumped up from their bed and stared at the vent. Then the leaper's left and the intercom on the ship turned on.

(Y/n): Good morning everybody, sorry for the rude awakening but I have temporarily deactivated sirens. Now if you all can start getting ready and meet at the southwest gate so we can get ready for class.
