The Psychic Trials

Chapter 4

After the events of the following day, we all just crashed. We lead Sarah into the cabin, and as we set her in one of the 2 small twin size cots, all three psychics passed out.
  The next thing I remember is seeing Richard's face in my dream. His smirk, his glaring eyes, and of course is beard red as blood. His laughter rung throughout my head as the scene shifts to two more people. A latin boy with curly brown hair and a dark skinned girl with short choppy hair. Both teens looked right in my eyes and started to speak until I was woke up by sarah. Sarah bandaged herself and was making sure all 3 of us were safe.
"Sarah............please........explain", I winced in pain but couldnt handle not knowing everything.
"Mom...... you knew about my powers and Daltons didnt you?", Bailey cried out.
"HEY! Cut it out you two. The woman just got shot in the chest and only survived because we were lucky bailey can heal", rose shouted but was cut off by Sarah.
"Thank you sweetie but they are both right", Sarah sighs and starts explaining. "I was apart of the organization. We believed that we were changing the world. After doing basic experimentation on rodent, we needed actual subjects that have complete control of their actions. We tried adults but realized that their brain was way too developed. So we decided to draft kids", she tried not to cry. "My husband tested over 300 kids but only half survived the experiment. The secret was deformities, but the project wasnt gonna help the world. They planned to use my expertise in biology to create mini psychic solders for them to control. Out of my conscious, I reported the project to the authorities. I didnt know they were murdering children. I took 5 kids with me but 3 were separated from me. I took Bailey and Rose to Bostwick, where I found people to adopt Rose and move away. I never expected them to move back or for you, Dalton, to show up. You 5 are connected. ", she breathes deeply as she finishes.
Everything was silent until bailey broke it.
