(Opens in a hospital room. Main is in a bed sleeping, George is in the chairs next to him.)
Jane: (Enters the room)
The doctor said he had drugs in his system. He had an allergic reaction to something in it. They don’t know what. They need to run a bunch of test, but it doesn't look good.
George: (Sighing)
Happy Birthday buddy, sorry your party is going to have to wait.
Jane: (Moving across the room to sit on the side of the bed.)
Even though we spent all weekend planning it. It was going to be a big surprise.
George:

The machine begins freaking out, doctors rush in.
Doctor:
ER Now.
Main is rolled out in a rush.
When a doctor returns later, it’s with bad news.
Doctor:
I’m sorry, he didn’t make it.
