I fell in Love with my father's son

Short Story

I'm standing while staring at front of the gate of our school. I'm a new student and I'm waiting for my best friend, Mia.

"Camilla!" Mia shout at me while walking towards the place where I'm standing.

"Let's go Camilla! I'm sure we will love our new school. I'm so excited! I'm very sure also that there are so many handsome boys here." she said joyfully while we are entering at the gate of our new school.

"Mia, we're not here to have flirt with those handsome men. We're here to study and enhance our skills.Stop thinking with those handsome men who will just hurt you at the end." I said bitterly while she is making face at me.

"You know what? You're so bitter. I think the reason is you don't know what is feeling of being loved by someone.It's like you're complete and always happy because no matter how imperfect you are, he will still love you." she said and still defending that love is happiness.

"Ugh! Whatever!" I answered because I don't really want to talk about love. Honestly, it was because of my parents who are legally separated that's why I don't want to believe in love. For me, it's not true after all, because to love means to get hurt.

We already found our room.Well, it's very colorful and designs are unique. tBut, that doesn't caught my attention because the only one who caught my attention is the man who is sitting beside the window. He is very handsome and he is staring outside.

We choose sitting in the second row and when we are sitting already, I look at the man again and unexpectedy, our eyes met and he freaking smile at me.

Actually, this is the first time that someone made my heartbeat fast. Is this what they called palpitation or this is what they called love?No! I don't think so.Ugh! This is just nothing and maybe because I'm just excited to learn.

It's already lunch time and we are falling in line in the canteen.

"Hi Camilla!" said by someone like we're close.

I look at my back and then I saw Thunder. He is the one who is sitting beside the window and smiled at me earlier.

"Ahm! Yes? Do you need something?" I answered.

" Oh! No. I just wanna greet you."
he said while grinning ear to ear.

"Ah!" I said then I smiled at him. It's already my turn and I chose chicken, carbonara, and pizza.
I paid my foods and walk towards the table that Mia chose.

"Is it your lunch? It's so little you know?" Thunder said while following me.

"I don't want to eat rice. I'm on diet." I said then sit. He also sit in the chair in front of me. Mia look at me with the question on her face. I'm shook too because first of all, it's first day of school and we're not yet close but he acts like we're friends for a long time ago.

"Come on guys. Let's eat!" he said and winked at me. Instead of thinking about his weirdness, I chose to eat my food.

After having lunch, we go back to our room. We met our teachers and when it is already 3, the bell rings which means It's already time to go home.

We were walking outside when Mia asked me, "Girl, what's that? Is he your friend? You two look like close.".

"I don't know. I can't understand why is he like that either." I answered honestly.

"Bye bessy! Our family driver is already here! Take care!." Mia said and ride on their car while waving at me.

After Mia left, a car stops and the window in the driver's seat open.
