*Jojen's POV*

The last thing.. The last thing I remember is the flash of fire and light that landed on my dying form... but now... I'm not dead? The only reason I knew I wasn't dead is because a familiar feeling washed over me... I was shaking violently, seeming things that haven't happened yet... However, when someone held me and spoke to me to calm me down, it was clearly not Meera's voice. Despite the stranger not knowing me and me not knowing her, I felt safe with the gentle touch and angelic voice soothing me. I saw Meera standing at the front of a small cabin, Meera crying as she rushed over to me sleeping soundly. I snapped out of it eventually and I was finally able to see the girl who was soothing me.

"I'm glad you're awake, Jojen." she said with a beautiful smile. I took in her goddess-like features as the loopy feeling that I was experiencing.

"Who are you...? Where am I...?" I said as I looked around a familiar cabin. It was the cabin from my Green Dream.

"I know you're confused... You were dying and so I brought you here... So I could put you back together, in a sense..." she said as she looked at my expression as if reading it.

"Where's Meera??" I asked, feeling exposed without her here. The girl smiled and moved some hair out of my face.

"I sent her a messenger owl... She should be arriving alone as soon as she can..." the girl continued as she helped me stand up. She helped me over to a plush bed when I realized that my previous clothes were hanging my the fire, drying out. I was dressed in some pants with no shirt, wraps around my torso and neck.

"Who are you?" I asked, raising my eyebrow. She walked away to grab a wet cloth and new wraps since I had bled through mine.

"My name is (Y/n) (L/n)... I'm a healer who was taught by the Children of the Forest... Gifted with the ability to soul swap and soul search..." she replied as she ripped the wraps on my torso off, gently cleaning my recently stitched stab wounds. I winced slightly as she removed the wrap around my neck.

"What do you mean 'soul swap' and 'soul search'?" I asked as she cautiously cleaned my stitched throat.

"You had died, Jojen... I could have either given you my soul so you would survive... Or I could send my soul to search for your own at your death place... I stitched up your wounds while you were still dead while my soul searched for yours... Then my soul walked your wandering one back here and back into your body..." (Y/n) explained, wrapping my neck back up in fresh wraps.

"You can bring the dead back to life?" I asked, a shocked expression on my face as (Y/n) started to make a disinfectant out of what seemed to be flowers.

"In some sense, yes..." she said with a slight smile. I smiled back before realizing that I was blown up... How did she put a scattered person back together.

"How'd you put my blown up body back together?" I asked, a bit confused as to who or what (Y/n) was.

"It's very simple... You weren't blown up... You're a lucky one actually... They've always said that the Children of the Forest were fond of Greenseers. A few of them blocked the blow, risking their own lives to save yours." (Y/n) said as she placed some of the disinfectant she had made on a gash that was on her shoulder.

"Thank you..." I said, taking in and memorizing every feature of (Y/n)'s face and body. She smiled at me as she stood up, placing something over the fire to cook. After a moment, the whole cabin smelled delightful and sweet.

"What you're making smells incredible..." I said as my stomach growled. She giggled which made my cheeks heat up slightly.

"They're cookies, but a little healthier. Don't worry though, they are just as good as normal cookies! Eventually, when the cookies were done, (Y/n) placed the cookies on a large platter and brought them to me. They looked incredible with an edible wildflower encased in the clear glaze she draped over the cookie part. I eagerly took a cookie, biting into it. My eyes widened as I took another bite. (Y/n) giggled and took a cookie.

"Do you like them?" she asked, smiling brightly. I nodded and finished the first cookie before grabbing two more, eating them slowly. She giggled and placed the cookies by my bedside.

"Eat as many as you would like, but slow down a bit! You don't want to upset your stomach!" she warned and she stole one more cookie.
