Sarah's pov

I decided to check my mom before I head to Aug's house

Me: Ma!

She quickly came out

Mom: Sarah hun I missed you

She hugged me tight

Me: I missed you too ma

Mom: where's aug

Me: Oh he's home I stopped here first

Mom: When am I gonna meet Aug?

Me: Soon mom

Mom: Okay your sis is upstairs

Me: Thanks

Mom: You got into a fight?

Uh oh

Me: Ma it was her fault!

Mom: Don't make it happen again

She pointed her finger at me

I nodded and I walked upstairs to see lani brushing her hair

lani: Girl I thought you left me to live with August

Me: I can't do that I gotta get your blessings first

She laughed

Lani: You better girl and you sucker punched Niecy good...never knew you had it in you blood

Me: Well I unleashed my power today 

I sat on the bed

Me: Thank you for carrying me to that performance I would of never meet him...

Lani: You're welcome you know I love u

Me: I love you too

I hugged her

Lani: Well go I bet Aug's waiting for ya

Me: Okay bye

I blew kisses. Before I left my room I packed a couple more stuff and kissed my little sister Lani's cheek and then I ran downstairs to see my mom crying I walked over and hugged her

Mom: I miss him...

Me: Ma we all miss him...don't cry

Lani then came downstairs to see both of us crying and she joined

Lani: Why did he leave?

Mom: I don't know sweetie...I don't know

Me: he said he would've came back

Mom: When baby?

Lani: He's not coming back

Me: Shut up Lani! he will...he loves us

I cried more and I ran out the door and into my car they both called after me but I left

*FLASHBACK*

Dad was a handsome man, tall 6'3 African American while our mom was an Indian. He always used to dress neat and he's really fun loving. I mean always helpful and let's us do anything to him like comb his hair

Dad: I promise I will come back girls

Me: Daddy where you going?

Lani: daddy you leaving us

He didn't say anything but kiss our foreheads and our Mom's and walked out the door,  I ran to Mom saying

Me: Did you two fight?
