Namjoon POV:
Today's the day. I'm finally going to propose to Jin. He's the love of my life and I don't want to lose him.
I decided it would be perfect to pop the question on the beach where we first met. As the big day approached I started planning exactly what I would do. Everything was set and all I had to do now was ask Jin on a date.
"Jin" I said, "Do you wanna go out for dinner tomorrow?"
"Yeah, where are we going?" He asked as I smiled when he said yes. "It's a surprise babe, but dress smartly" i winked at him before leaving the room.
Perfect. Hopefully this would go well.
Time skip
"Jin are you ready?" He replied yes as I finished adjusting my tie and making final checks in the mirror. I wanted everything to go smoothly and prayed that the live of my life would agree to marry me.
Jin walked out our room looking stunning. His soft, brown hair was neatly combed into place and his suit hugged his figure perfectly. His soft eyes stared into mine and I got lost in them. His delicate, pink lips formed into a smile as he took my hand and headed out the door.
His eyes widened as he spotted the long black limo I had rented for this special occasion. We walked down the gravel path and made our way to the vehicle. I opened the door for Jin as he smiled at me before climbing in followed by me.
The journey was spent conversing about our week and Jin asking non-stop questions about where we were going.
"It's a surprise" I simply said while chuckling at his pouty face.
We finally arrived at his favourite restaurant and made our way inside the building.
The room was dimly lit with candles on every table. A single rose stood in a glass on every table and peaceful music could be heard playing in the background.
We were shown to our table and took our seats before scanning the menus and making our orders. While waiting for our food me and Jin made jokes and had a great time together.
After about two hours, we had both finishes our meals and were ready to leave. The beach was across from the restaurant so I took Jin's hand and lead him to the beach.
The sky was dark and littered with stars as a gentle breeze swept past us as we walked further over the sand. Suddenly, o turned to face Jin and gently covered his eyes with my hand before leading him to the spot I had specially set up earlier.
He just giggled as he followed my lead, trusting me all the way.
"Keep your eyes closed until I say ok?" He nodded as I took my hand away and got into position.
"Open your eyes" ...
Jin's POV:
Namjoon lead me further across the beach and suddenly placed his hand over my eyes. I giggled as he told me not to open them until he said so.
I felt him leave my side and the cold air nipped at my arms as my eyes remained closed.
"Ok, 1, 2, 3 OPEN!!"
As Namjoon said that I slowly opened my eyes and beheld the most beautiful scene in front of me.
There was Namjoon stood ahead of me surrounded by a sea of lit candles with a huge archway draped in flowers standing proudly above him.
I took slow steps towards him and reached my arms out to him and he laced our hands together.
"Jin, from the day I met you I was instantly pulled towards you. You are the most special person in my life and I couldn't ask for a more loving partner. I think we are ready to move forwards to the next stage in our lives so, Jin will you do me the honour of becoming my husband?"
He got onto one knee and pulled a ring out of his pocket as his mesmerising eyes stayed glued to mine.
I felt tears of happiness spring free from my eyes and I vigorously nodded my head while repeating the word "yes".
"Yes, yes, yes I will marry you!"
As he heard my answer Namjoon slid the ring on my finger and engulfed me in his embrace while passionately kissing me. I smiled into the kiss before we broke away and stayed in each other's arms while looking at the beautiful night sky.
Perfect. This is perfect. I couldn't be more happy. Namjoon completes me and I complete him. I love him so much.
"I love you"
