Hello, and welcome to The Fan Fiction Book Club. My hope is that you enjoy your stay here and improve your writing from the feedback you give and receive.
This is a book club for any fanfiction on Wattpad. There are several other clubs for specific universes, such as Harry Potter or BTS, but this club will be all-inclusive for fanfictions. So that readers don't get too confused, it is recommended that your fanfiction be accessible or open to anyone. This means there are explanations for the different ideas in the chosen universe or you provide context in your writing that clues a reader in.
This book club is a little different from most other book clubs on Wattpad. From experience, I feel it's very difficult to understand a plot or narrative within just two chapters. For that reason, each assignment will consist of five chapters. Assignments last for two weeks, and then everybody gets a new partner and we start all over again.
There will be no groups in this club. We will read everybody's work in due time, so if you don't want to read a certain genre or universe, this is not the book club for you. The only content you're allowed to reject is mature content.
The following chapters explaining the book club are detailed and contain what seem like a lot of rules. All you really have to remember are the following:
1. Be nice.
2. Post a comment at the end of each chapter you read either praising the author for what he/she did well or indicating what he/she can do to improve (or both).
3. Finish your assignments.
Ultimately, the success and longevity of this book club depends on your commitment and effort.
