Levi drinks with a straight face because of a traumatic experience he had as a child. What happened was he was really poor and lived in the slums. There was this tea set he really wanted so he saved enough money for it. He eventually bought it and was super happy. He was holding it by the handle drinking tea with the tea set when the handle broke up and the whole set shattered. That is why he holds the too of the cup.
