Mama Misty (Teen Pregnancy)

Authors Introduction

Ok so this is not a chapter, rather an introduction but, it would be benefitial, so please read.

Hi guys my name is Samantha.

So I thought it would be a good idea to write you guys an introduction so you can get a view on my ideas, beliefs, themes for this story and just to know me incase it helps with the story but I thought I would put the first chapter "Meet Misty" first so you could decide if it was for you or not.

So I have read a few "teen pregnancy" stories on here for example, to give them some recognition, because they are so fantastic, some of them are;

*'14 & Pregnant' and it's sequal 'Double Trouble'

*'Pregnant in the Games' and it's sequal 'Daughter of the Games' and my most recent read...

*'16 and Pregnant' and i'ts sequal 'Expect the Unexpected' (paigevera).

They are just some of my personal favourites but, a trend I'm seeing is that alot of these types of stories are "typical" and "predictable" and go something like...

...unexpected loses virginity to someone, becomes pregnant, keeps baby they raise it together and happily ever after... am I right? Let me know below. So anyway I decided it was my turn to give it a crack, but I wanted to be original and inventive so I decided to stray away from the same themes and ideas of other stories (not saying that any of them are bad but...). So you would have noticed already that the main character is Misty (quick fact. I tend to use names with personal meaning to me and I love it when other people let me know there names "connection" to them. But on that note, the name Misty has no meaning to me it just randomly popped up in my mind.) Back to this, so you would have noticed Misty is the main character, but behold she is not an outcast or a loser or anyone cliche she is in fact an absolute slut! You would have also noticed the word abortion and this may or not be involved in the story but dont let that put you off because i'm against abortion so... winky face insert there ;-). Ok so before I end up blabbering on all day and not writing the actual story here is some facts about me:

Im a very mature 14 year old.

I am Australian

I have a bit of an obsession with everything Italian. Including the men.

I do have a bad case of depression and I have a likely hood of bipolar but can't be diagnosed for a few years yet (if anyone notices drastic changes in the story or anything really dark let me know and I will change it when I am in a different frame of mind.)

I like to involve readers as I love reading myself, so I will have little interactive things going on like name a character comp, plot idea welcomings, shout outs and would love to read your stories so let me know about them too. On that note, I am considering a name the baby contest so put your thinking caps on because there will be atleast one baby in the story. Who has it is a secret for now. I was also thinking of having a vote on weather you want a certain baby to be a boy or girl, twins or not etc. So feedback below would be awesome.

I consider myself a friendly person so if you're ever wanting company, advice, feedback or just want to have lots of friends, chat to me. I will never dismiss you and promise to not be a nasty person no matter who you are because I have come across people like that before. If you like my ideas and want to use them go ahead but, that having been said, please let me know before you start what parts or ideas you want to use (dont worry I wont say no 99.99% of the time) and then when your finished just let me know the title or a link or something so that I can check it out and spread the word.

I am an animal lover and a kid lover. I love my nephews to pieces and want to be either an early childhood educator or vet.

So thats my "basic" authors introduction.
