Chapter 1

yukino's pov

'Am I invisible, will you ever see what you do to me?'

"UGH!!!" I fell back on my bed. "I need to tell him. This is getting out of hand." I whispered to myself my hands covering my face. "Whats getting out of hand Yuki?" I jumped and turned around. Speaking of the devil! Standing in front was the very boy i was just talking about. Sting. Yes i'm in love with my guild master. "Um it's nothing sting~sama..." He looked me in the eyes. Oh god his eyes are so beautiful!!!
"If you say so. I just came into tell you that in two weeks were having the guild gatherings ,but Makarov thought this year it should be a talent show. I know you wouldn't want to preform ,you probably just want to watch ,but i just wanted to tell you and-" "Sting~sama your rambling." He gave a small laugh and put his hand on the back of his neck. "Sorry Yuki it's just Natsu making me preform with him...." I gave a small nod. I felt like I couldn't speak, but this always happens when he's around ,I feel like if I talk i'll say something stupid.
"I should get going Natsu wants to spend the next two weeks practicing..." "Yeah i was going to leave soon too, Erza~chan told me Sorano is going to be at fairy tail tomorrow so i'm leaving now so I can be the first to see her!" Ever since i found my sister talking about her brought the biggest smile on my face. Sting gave a small chuckle. "I never met your sister ,but from the look on your face she must be amazing. But she's your family so I guess that's normal." I looked down I had never told sting about my family.
"more like she's the only family that likes me, or is even alive...." That took him back for a moment. "W-what do you mean by that?"I sighed. "It's a long story so you should probably sit." he took a seat at the end of my bed next me with a worried look on his face.

Sting pov

I have never seem Yukino so serious. "It's true Sonroe is my family and that makes me very happy ,but the rest of my family didn't." 'what does she mean by didn't she's making it sound like they're dead?' she saw the confusion on my face.
"Let me explain I had a very small family. We all lived in a small village, in my house there lived me, Sonroe, my mom, my dad,.....and my two brothers......(just go with it)" Wait she has brothers!? "Hiro was the oldest he was so kind and did anything to protect us, and then there was Mashy or that's what i called him his real name was Mashima he was funny sweet and loved to put smiled on everyone's face. H-He was my twin brother....." My eyes widened. "i never knew you had a twin!"
she let out a very week laugh. "I don't like talking about the brother that died right in front of me ,because he was trying to save me.......well that failed."
"So your brother died trying to save you from what?" "In a second. Are town was one of the ones that were raided for children for the tower of heaven. me and my brother were running for are lives, Hiro and Sorano had already been taken ,and my mother was trying to convince the man that he should take me not them." i felt rage boiling in me. "And were was your dad!?" "He died when I was 3, and as much as I wish it was my mother that died not him, it was." In the time I have known Yukino she has never wished someone dead, it scared me
. "So me and Mashy were running when we got corned by a man in a mask, Mashy tried to trap him in vines but since we were so young Nashua magic wasn't that strong ,so the man was able to blocked them easily, and then in a flash of light he killed Mashy." I had no words, she looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"That man was not with the tower of heaven he was a child slave owner not just any, but the kind that will suck the magic out of them till there deathly ill."
"But your not deathly ill or at least you don't look like it." She looked away and even with my dragon hearing i could barely her next words. "not anymore" I felt my heart shatter for her. "What do you mean?"
She got off the bed and walked over to her shelf. She pulled a thick book out, it had photos and papers poking out of it. "whats that?"She just ignored my question. "After I was taken I spent five years there until the magic council got wind of this man and came and saved us. they found over 120 children barely alive me included ,about 30 kids who just came."
She stopped for a minute. "A-and over 500 dead body's of kids and teens." my eyes widened. "They took us to the hospital I was diagnostic with kidney failure, lack of sun, eating disorder, a-and depression....." my eyes were wide, my mouth was open, I had no words. "did you ever get better?" She looked at me. "no not really, the lack of sun was easily fixed ,they just took me to the beach everyday after I woke up-""WAIT WOKE UP!?" "Yes I was in a coma for 3 weeks. They said as soon as they found me they picked me up and I just fell into their arms limp."
She paused. "Anyway why I was in a coma they gave feeding tubes and when I woke up I had to eat five meals a day. Now it's just affects me when I get really stressed and wont eat. My kidney failure was able to be fixed I don't real know how, they said I was healed by something different then normal cases because there was something different about me, they mostly meant that I was way to sick and broken to take that risk." "And your depression?" "It's.......way better now that I have Sonroe back, but it still hurts me knowing my mother was going to risk my life for my siblings instead of hers, an then with my brothers and all ,but it's very rare of me to think like that now." I nodded.

yukino pov 

I just lied to sting, my depression is not rare it's every day of my life ,but as long as I have Sonroe i'll be fine. "I should head to fairy tail Sting~sama" I said "I'll go with you knowing Natsu he probably forgot." With that I grabbed my bag and put the book inside and headed to the train station with Sting.
