Violetshine leapt at the emotionless tabby tom in front of her, raised her paw to try to strike his shoulder and knock him of balance and plummeted down to him. Of course, she missed as came crashing down to the ground, rolling out the way just in time to miss his blow. She got to her paws as quickly as she could and hissed at him, ready to attack again. He remained emotionless. Violetshine almost felt sorry for him. Tigerstar had robbed his feelings, his memories, his soul. Now he was just another pawn to train the tributes up for the Hunger Games. This brief moment of recognization lead to Violetshine's downfall as he pinned her to ground and won. After a moment he let her up again, prompting whether she wanted to move on. She did. So did Lionblaze. They needed to go to the herbs station.

"Weakling!" Sneered a voice behind her. Breezepelt was looking her straight in the eye when she turned around to face him. His smokey black pelt gleamed and his eyes were on fire. He'd been preparing.

"You don't know nothing..." hissed Violetshine, fur puffing up, teeth bared. Quickly, she forced herself to regain calm, since fighting other tributes was banned. Once you where in the arena, you would have some time to have some really good fun killing them. Breezepelt sniffed her, getting her scent for the games ahead. "Mousebrain." With that, Violetshine left to the herbs station, looking around when she arrived. She could see almost all the tributes. The ones from District 8 were training up their fighting skills. 2 were hunting, 12 were also fighting, 6 were running, 11 were tree-climbing and now her District, 4, were learning about herbs. The tutor was an all ginger cat with brown eyes and an ugly scar over his left shoulder. He was of course emotionless but taught Violetshine and Lionblaze about the first ten herbs; marigold for infection, daisy leaf for sore joints, feverfew for fever and greencough... Some of them just seemed to float in and then out of Violetshine's mind. Once the lecture had finished they were asked to nose the different herbs, and Violetshine got seven out ten, which was better than Lionblaze, who got an awkward four.

"Where should we go?" He muttered tensely, looking around.

"I don't know."

"Tree-climbing?"

"Okay." District 11 had moved from tree-climbing by the time they arrived and now only 4 and 1 were training there. Violetshine had to admit that the kittypets were putting in a great effort. Lionblaze barely had to move twice to win. Smudge fell from the tree, almost sobbing, his black and white pelt breaking his fall. Cody nervously took it one tiny paw step by one tiny paw step, moving barely anywhere. Violetshine quite easily scaled to tree in a few giant step, using her claws to grip onto the thin tree branch. She leapt off stealthy once she finished and watched the pathetic kittypets try to beat each other. Beside her, Violetshine caught Lionblaze biting down laughter. At least he still could laugh.

"Let's leave them..." he whispered. Violetshine nodded. She didn't want to watch this sad show anymore.

Because she knew the kittypets would die first anyway.
