(POV: Jacob - 9:00pm)

I slipped on my black skullie, keeping it on only half of my head. Then I called up Jawan to see if he was ready. Then he told me to meet him by the park.

Hmm, now how am I gonna do this without getting caught? The back door! -- I thought as I tip toed through the kitchen and to the back door. I slowly slid it open, trying to keep quiet. Then I quickly stepped out and slid the door back.

It's game time.

 (POV: Bre'Asia)

"Oooh yeah oooh yeeaah, ooooh." I sang. I've been practicing this song I wrote for a while. My Dad wants me to teach the choir so we can perform at the big downtown church.

I put the papers back in their order when I heard the doorbell ring. I hopped off my bed, ran downstairs then looked through the peephole.

No... friggin'...way!

Then I swung the door opened and squealed, "Ahh, Minnie I missed you soo much!!" then I engulfed her in a big bear hug.

"Bre'Asia!" she screamed. Minnie's my cousin from Texas so she's "Texas Trill" as they all say. Then I noticed a few bags next to her.

"What's up with the bags?" I question.

"Oh Auntie Karoyln didn't tell you? I'm moving in with you guise because Grandma can't handle me and all that shit." she explained adding an eyeroll. Minnie's Mom had died during birth so my Grandma took custody. My Mom had just had me a month earlier and couldn't take on two babies, especially while my Dad was working as a Contractor -- all before he became a Pastor. And don't even ask about her Dad.. no one knows where that dead-beat is.

"Yay!" I screamed before pulling her up the stairs and to my room. She plopped down on my bed and I did the same. She then began to go through my song papers. She put them down, looked around my room, and looked me up and down before sighing deeply, sort of sounding like a man.

"Really Bre? You're still a little church girl? I thought you would've grown outta that shit by now, damn." she asked, rolling her eyes.

Oh no, another Nadia. When Minnie use to come to our house on holidays, weekends, whatnot and  we'd play and whatnot, she always questioned why I would pray before I went to bed, or before I ate. Or when we'd make her put on a dress, and bring her to church with us. She never really understood, until she got older and my Mom explained it to her. You see, our Grandma isn't really about that "church-life". I mean, you would think a women you always said "Praise the Lord!" or "Thank you, Jesus!" would go to church some. But not my Grandma, she's completely opposite of that.

What I'm really trying to get at is; Minnie started being a bad butt when she was twelve, she doesn't like that I'm good and a "church girl" and she wants me to be like her. But I'm not changing for nobody but the Lord.

 (POV: Minnie)

Ugh, really? She's still a damn church girl. She should have grown out of that shit by now.

"Minnie, watch your mouth." she replied, rolling her eyes.

I rolled mine too, "Whatever," then I sat up straight on the bed and got closer to her, "Has anyone ever told you that you look like a porcelain doll?" I asked.
