Dear past Savannah,
I made the worst decision of my life today and I don't want you to make the same mistake. I wanted to tell you never to eat the leaf or paper, never get mad at Kate and trip over that ball, never bark or act like a dog, never pretend you are less than you are, never get caught up in drama, never make friends with people you don't trust, and never think that your a failure.
You are an amazing girl and you will succeed in life if you never make the mistakes that I made, the mistakes that will ruin your life forever. If you stay the sweet, happy girl everything will be ok.
I want to warn you of all the bad things in your life. When your 8 your papa will die, nana will date a man who hates you. You will lose all your friends and continue being bullied for your whole life. You may think that your young and you have so much to do with your life but you are so wrong.
Please join a sports team, your new classmates only like athletic people, and you will get fat. Follow your dreams, it may seem everyone is against you but trust me they're not. Don't be upset when you can't be the famous ballerina you had your heart set on. Focus on what your good at, not what your not. You might not be a good actress but, you may be a good writer.
One of the most important thing that you want to do is write you can't work with Mary for the science fair project in 7th grade.  Never make good friends with Catie or Abbie.  Try your hardest in school, never let anyone stop you.
I want you to grow up to be a happy, nice little girl everyone wants you to be, but I am sad to tell you that there will be more hardships, when you turn 11 years old there will be a tumor on your stomach. The tumor won't be cancerous but it will change your life. Your health won't be the best but you'll pull through it, I hope. If you read this and follow through with everything I told you to do and not to do none of this might happen. All the mistakes I made shaped and made me who I am today. If you make different decisions you won't become me. We'll be two different people except I won't exist. You'll come the new and improved Savannah. You have a choice: correct the mistakes I made and be your own person or, do everything that made me and we will become one.
I'll learn your decision soon. From, the future you, Savannah.
