Ethan's POV

"Okay guys as all of you know I turned 17 two days ago in a neighbor pack when helping my father with Alpha duties." I leaned against the wall of my lounge room, " and I didn't find my mate." I frowned

Noah, my best friend, stands up " Yes Eth we know why did you drag us here just to tell us that?" right when was about to snap at him the door swings open and Parker my future beta walks in.

" You're late." I glared at him he just smiled

" Yeah, anyways what did I miss?"

"Ethan here is informing us about how sad he is about not finding his mate." Cameron my gamma said I growled at him he shouldn't be talking to me like that he needs to give me respect. Parker just scoffed at me. Parker is the one who influences them not to respect me he's never liked me. He thinks I'm just a stupid kid.

"Ethan look you just turned 17, some people find their mate the week of others a couple of years later. It takes the time you can't force it. "Parker stated

" You don't think I know this? But I have to find my mate soon how else am I-" I got cut off by fading scent in the room too soft to make it out but it just seemed to knock me back still.

Cameron snaps his fingers in front of me "Ahoy! You there captain?"

"What? Yeah, I'm fine. I just need you guys to help I want to find her I just don't know what to do. What if she isn't here either?" I say slumping down on to the coach

Someone sighs and a hand is placed on my shoulder "Ethan you're young and you're a soon to be alpha. That means you have a better chance of finding her since you can ask permission and walk into any pack just to look for your mate. Many people aren't that lucky I'm sure you'll find her soon." I nod in thanks to Parker he's right it won't be a trouble for me. " but for right now the best way to find out if your mate is in this pack is for you to actually go out and interact with them you won't find her just sitting on this couch. Come on we're going to my house."

" Why?" Noah asked

"It's Cassandra's birthday half the pack is there celebrating." He looks down at his watch and back at us, "actually I think we just missed her shift."

Noah looks confused " I thought her party was later you know she always has it with Blake's sister what's her name again?"

"Yeah Cass and her always have a party damn Cass is always hot but when they throw those party's and I see Blake's sister mhmm how I'd like to- " Was all Cam could say after Parker growled at him. His eyes flashing back from blue to green and his fist are balled up you can see his claws are coming out cause he's bleeding by sinking his claws into his flesh

"I suggest you don't finish that sentence!" He looks like he's ready to bite his head off I stand up because the last thing I need is gamma being killed my beta.

" Parker you need to calm down. He was just messing around." I turn him to the door, "Go outside we'll head out soon." Once he leaves I turn to Cameron. " You. You'll stay here."

" what?! While you guys go to a party? No way!"

" Wow, you really want to die don't you?" Noah asks him

" what do you mean I was just joking he's over it." He says just shrugging it off

" Really? When else have you seen him like that? huh, tell me." I know he knows that Parker only asks like that for one reason

Cameron looks too he's shoes, " when he's about to kill a rogue

"And he lives with Black one of our top worriers and you were just talking about doing things to not only his sister but he's cousin so. Let me ask you do you think it's smart to walk into their house today?"
