Preface- The Neverseen are defeated. Sophie is about to learn her results from her last year before elite level midterms. She and Fitz are becoming cognates. Sophie is going to stay at Everglade during break because a new animal is being moved in at Havenfield and Grady and Edaline don't want Sophie to get hurt. She and Fitz are taking their cognates test as their finals test. Sophie skipped a grade and Fitz was held back so they could be in the same level at Foxfire. Before they become cognates they have to share every secret they have, including their biggest secret. For Sophie that is the secret that could ruin their friendship forever. It is that Sophie ....... likes Fitz.
