"So, why are we getting dressed up?" Lucy questioned the water mage as she looked at her pink dress.
Juvia sighed as she was currently struggling with her hair, "Because we are going out to dinner for Lucy-San's birthday," Juvia explained as the blonde noticed her struggles.
She pursed her lips as she walked towards the water mage and pulling out her keys. "I know who can help with your hair," Lucy winked as she called out cancer.
The celestial spirit greeted his master before getting to work on the mage, "Juvia, I thought Gray would pick you up," Ezra stated as she entered the room and took a seat.
"Juvia and Gray-sama agreed to meet up at dinner," She explained as she remembered their conversation earlier that day. Juvia had bumped into the ice mage earlier that morning in the guild hall, she had greeted him.
And, he had taken the chance to ask details about their arrival to the party, "Do you want me to pick you up, or do you want to meet up instead?" He asked unsure which would seem appropriate.
Juvia wanted Gray to pick her up, but she had to remember what Gajeel had told her, "Gray-sama and Juvia could meet up at the party," She answered.
Gray was surprised from her answer, but he nodded as he then looked at the time, "I should get going, I'll bring the gift," He assured as he walked past the water mage.
"Juvia we should leave," Ezra stayed as the bluenette shook her thoughts aside. She stood up following the two girls, "Wendy agreed to meet us there aswell," She informed both the mages.
They walked towards the guild as the blonde was confused, "I thought we were heading to a restaurant, not the guild..." She stated unsure whether they were going to meet up at the guild then head over to the restaurant. Both Ezra and Juvia kept silent, even though Juvia was cluttered with her thoughts.
She was worried about how tonight would go, nothing can go bad, she can't risk shedding any more tears. She had to prepare herself if anything were to go wrong with Gary. Even in the worst scenarios that will cause her heart to shatter.
"Alright," Ezra stated as she pushed open the doors and walked inside.
"Why is it so dark inside?" Lucy questioned as the lights flickered on and everyone shouted surprise for the blonde mage. Juvia looked over at how she got tackled with hugs and wishes. She stepped aside seeing the wizard tear up from happiness. It wasn't long til the dragon slayer scooped in and pulled her away.
"Hey rainwomen," She heard turning around to see Gajeel with his cat, Panther Lily, the two were dressed in matching suits, "How's it been going?" He questioned leaning closer to her.
"Juvia doesn't really know," She admitted as she played with a strand with her blue hair, "It's hard not being close to my Gray-sama," She continued as the iron mage shook his head.
His eyes looked at the water mage seriously, "You have to try hard Juvia. I can't risk losing you," He admitted, "Your like my sister," He gave her a sincere smile as she felt touched from his words.
She was happy that he felt that way about her since she too, saw Gajeel as a brother, "Juvia sees Gajeel-Kun as her brother," She smiled as he gave her a hug.
"Ahem," A cough was heard as they separated. Juvia looked and saw Gray. Her eyes fell in love with his appearance as he was wearing a black shirt and jeans. It was a simple outfit, but it did bring out his muscles, "What are you two doing?" He questioned slightly annoyed at Gajeel's presences.
"None of your business," Gajeel replies back with a smirk. He knew how Gray felt, and he knew that he will do anything he can to make him admit his feelings for the water mage.
