Don Lichterman started volunteering for the Grammy Organization / Recording Industry Association of America in the year 2017 and has been an active member ever since. He has played a major role in doing the advocacy representative work in order to implement the Allocation for Music Producers (AMP) act – an act that adds producers and engineers on certain copyrights and also, establishes the certainty of their royalty payments. His other goal as an associate was to update all the outdated consent decrees by way of Litigation with the Department of Justice. Don also went for meetings with New Jersey State Senators and State Representatives.

Don Lichterman has achieved significant results in several domains related to promoting organizational growth with all sorts of projects, businesses and overall development, securing necessary industry related deals, and increasing the overall sales volume. Talking about his education, Don has received his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD. He graduated with Major Concentrations in Business Administration and Minor Concentrations in Radio, Television and Film (R.T.V.F.) and with Computer Languages.
Over a period of almost 20 years, Don has had the pleasure of working with several reputed entertainment companies including Warner Bros. Records / Warner Music Group, Sire Records, PolyGram Holding Co., Atlantic Recording Company, MCA Records / MCA Music Entertainment, Inc., and Chalet Sound Studios. Don founded Sunset Corporation of America, Inc. in Cherry Hill, NJ in the year 2008 and is the Chairman of the company.
