"Wake up, Sarah!" Tommy screamed while pounding on my door. "What do you want I responded bluntly. "We have to go register today." "Oh goody!" I mumbled sarcastically. "Be ready in 10 minutes" Tommy yelled halfway down the stairs. "Okay" I replied. I walked over to my closet slowly sliding the two white doors open. I looked through my many shirts and picked one that I wore often.. I threw on my shirt, a pair of basketball shorts, converse, and pulled my hair up into a messy bun. I slowly opened the door and ran down stairs. My mom was sitting on the couch while Tommy was sitting on the floor eating a bag of Cheetos. "Ready?" my mom questioned. "Yep." I answered. "Alright, let's go than!" she said enthusiastically. Tommy jumped up off of the floor and we all walked out to the black escalade parked in the driveway. Given that my mother was a lawyer and that my dad was a doctor we've always been rather wealthy. It was weird driving around an unfamiliar town like Bakersfield. It was a small town compared to Austin. It didn't take long to get to the school. It didn't look that bad, but that was just my opinion on the outside.. As soon as I walked inside the disguise quickly revealed a hellish place I wasn't used to. There weren't very many people walking down the halls, so I assume everyone was in class. It was Friday; meaning I would have for start on Monday. I came in the middle if January which means the middle of the semester. I walked around the lower level of the school while my mom was registering Tommy and I. As I was examining the mural on the wall I bumped into someone. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." I pleaded quickly looking down before they could notice my unfamiliar face. "It's okay." they said as they bent down to pick up the mess of papers now scattered on the floor. The voice had a low tone to it so I assumed it was a boy. I nervously bent down to help him pick up papers. As soon as they were all gathered I handed him the papers. As I saw him I started to examine his features. He was a fairly tall boy, he had light brown hair which seemed to be in perfect formation, he also had brown eyes that seemed to make me lost, and most of all he had an amazing smile. "Hi, I'm Matthew" he said while smirking. "Uhh Hi, I'm Sarah." I said in a hushed voice. "Are you new here?" He asked "I don't think I've seen you around before" "Yeah, I just moved here from Austin." I replied "That's cool!" he responded."Well, I better get going," I started "my moms waiting for me." "See you around!" he said. "Bye." I replied rushing back to the front desk where my mom was before. "Are you done?" I asked. "Yes, are you ready to go?" she answered. "Yes!" I quickly replied. We all walked out, got into the car, and took the same route home. When we pulled up into the gravel drive way I hopped out of the car, and ran straight up stairs to my room. I pulled out my phone and scanned down my Instagram which I seemed to be constantly checking.. I threw my phone down and looked at the clock. It was only 4:36 p.m but I seemed oddly tired. So I laid my head down and started to fall asleep when all of a sudden.....
