It's a rainy day. The train speeds along meadows and fences underneath the grey sky. Jimin tries to focus on what's outside but can only see his own reflection. He sees the bags under his eyes, the tense skin around his lips and in his eyes is nothing near a sparkle to be found. He looks like he lost his soul, he thinks by himself. Maybe that's accurate. It also feels like he lost his soul, but he doesn't remember where and when that could have happened. Suddenly he shows his teeth to himself and narrows his eyes. Smile, Jimin, smile! He stays like this a couple seconds and tries to fool himself but it doesn't work. Quickly he looks to the other side to see if no one in the train had seen him acting so silly. There's only a woman sitting at the other side of the train, reading a book. She didn't see anything. Jimin sighs a tired sigh and looks out of the window again. How can I get myself out of this? he thinks. This is hopefully not how I'm going to live the rest of my life, without the knowledge of finding joy and happiness again.
Then he focuses his eyes. What is that, in the midst of a meadow? Somewhere in the grass he sees a spot of purple. It looks like a bag from afar or a tent. It doesn't seem to move. The train gets closer and closer and Jimin gets as close to the window as possible to see what it may be. Then the purple thing moves. It's a boy and he's standing up from laying in the grass a few seconds ago. Quickly Jimin tries to interpret the situation, is this boy okay? Does he need help?
The boy starts to twirl around with his nose pointed to the sky and his arms stretched. His fluorescent purple jacket makes Jimin a bit dizzy. The train comes closer and finally Jimin can see his face. He doesn't know why but he is shocked. The boy in the meadow is grinning with a wide smile against the grey sky. Suddenly the boy moves his head and is face-to-face with Jimin. His eyes meet Jimin's eyes. They smile. That happened in less than a second, the train is already past the boy and Jimin can't see him anymore. But he stays in the same position as when he met the eyes of the boy. A weird feeling comes up in him. He can't seem to grasp it. This was a very weird situation overall.
Then the voice-over of the train lets the passengers know the next stop is coming. The train slows down and before Jimin realizes it himself, he has packed his bag and has rushed out of the train. Once outside, when the train is leaving again, it dawns to him he has no idea what he is doing. Well, maybe he does. Maybe this is a chance for him to finally get out of what his life is like right now.
