'The Box'

"We just found a box, but we still don't know what's in it.", Eric explained as I looked to my partner, girlfriend and soulmate, Kensi Blye. I remembered that she gave me a box once and I still do not know what's inside of it, but after we got together I thought it wasn't that important, cause I then got everything I wanted to have, her. I then remembered, that I totally forgot where I put the box and just hoped that she wouldn't ask me, but she did: "Have you ever opened 'our box' ?", she asked. "No, but I didn't need to, I got everything I ever wanted.", I replied. "What ?", she asked, "You", I answered as she began to smile. "Hey lovebirds, we've still got a case", Sam shouted. "Sure", I answered. "Okay, let's go", Callen said, after Eric finished his little presentation. "Where is 'our box' ?", Kensi asked as I became red. "You don't know it, don't you ?", she said a bit sad and disappointed. "Of course I know it...", I lied. "Let's open it when we finished this case, I'm wondering what you now think about it.", she said as I got scared. "Okay", I tried to say without going crazy. "We'll find it.", Eric whispered and gee, that's the best thing he's ever said to me.

Two days later we solved the case. I just hoped that Beale found the box, like I never had hope for anything before. "Hey, Deeks come to the gym in five minutes, we got your box.", Eric said as I felt how I got better. Five minutes later I was at the gym room, not a second too late. "Psst...", I heard from a corner. "Deeks...", I heard as I knew it was Eric. "Thanks man", I said, and I meant it.

I got out of the gym room and met Kensi. "You really knew where it was, the whole time, you really have to be in love with me", she said. "Of course I knew it, and of course I love you, baby.", I half lied, cause I clearly did not know where the box was, but the other half was the truest thing I've ever said. I love her with all of my heart. "Do you remember the moment, you gave it to me ? I wanted to open this box as much as I wanted you, maybe even more back then.", I said. "You're so sweet", she answered and kissed me. "Hey, I'll just put it into the car and we'll drive home, k?", I asked and she nodded.

When we got home I couldn't expect opening this thing. She gave it to me 5 years ago and I always wanted to open it, until I forgot about it. We sat down in our kitchen and she gave me a knife. I wanted to open it, but something stopped me. "What's up, just open it Deeks.", she said a bit worried. "I don't know, I wanted to open it for such a long time and now I could open it, but something stops me", I said. "But I'll open it now", I finished my sentence. I put the knife into the beginning of the duct tape and cut it. I pulled the knife out and slowly opened it. "Oh my god, I'm so exited", I nearly screamed. "A note", I said a bit surprised. "Read it...", Kensi said.

It said :

Deeks, listen. There are some things I just have to tell you now. I hope you'll read this right here as soon as possible. If you don't feel the same, ok, but if you do, please tell me, I have to know it. Okay, I'm a bit nervous, but I'll start.

I love you.

I want you.

I have to have you.

I want you to be mine.

I love you.

"Kens, I love you too, you've got me and I am yours.", I said with tears in my eyes and with a voice full of love. "I know and I still love you, I still want you and I know that I have you and you're mine and I'm yours, forever.", Kensi almost whispered. "Come here", I said and passionately kissed her.
