A/N: Warning. I am changing some of the charecters pasts. I know that the way i describe them isnt actually what happens, but its fun to change it a bit.
It was early morning, around 6:00 am. Raven was wide awake in the kitchen making her tea. Beastboy was in his bed, awake, thinking about the new addition of the team. They were meant to be arriving today, and beastboy was nervous, as he always was towards meeting new people. Mainly as of his skin, and scared torso. But nobody knew about his scars.
Beastboy got out of his bed, and did the usual. Shower, brush teeth and get dressed. He was now 20 years old. He didn't wear his uniform anymore. He wore his own clothes. Like everyone else. He put on black genes and tried a black shirt that hugged his torso, accenting on his abs and pecks.
'Too tight' He thought to himself.
He changed it to a looser black shirt and made his way to the kitchen where he saw raven drink her tea. The warm liquid soaked her lips, and warmed her insides up. She spotted him, and started an open conversation.
'Hey Gar.' She said.
'Hi. Whats up?' He asked freely. Ever since they permantley destroyed ravens father, raven was a free woman.
'Nothing much. Why are you up so early?'
'You know how I am when it comes to meeting new people. Can't sleep, can't eat and can't think.'
'I know, I know. But its ok. It's only SLADES daughter, Rose.' She say with sarcasm.
'Hey, slades a nice guy now. He regrets everything, remember. He apologised for killing Moira Queen, to Olly. And Olly has forgiven him for stuff far more worse.'
'Whose Olly?'
'Oliver Queen. The green arrow.'
'Oh. Why do you call him Olly?' She asked.
'Why do you call me gar?' He replies playfully. The truth was, he was close with Oliver. They trained together, right from the begging. On the island of Li Yan Yu.
'Ok, ok. Do you want something to eat?' She asks.
'Nope. I'm good, thanks though.' He replies.
Raven places her mugs on the edge of the sink. She turned around to get a dish washer tablet, and accidentally knocked her mug off the edge, and sent it flying to the floor. Luckily beastboy managed to catch it before it made impact with the floor.
'Be careful. I bought you this mug.' He says jokingly.
'Sorry.' She let a little giggle out on the end.
'Well, everyone's still sleeping. Its half six in the morning, so what do you say about a movie, perhaps?' He offers.
'How about a tv series. Like stranger things?' She asks.
'I know a good one. How about titans? On Netflix. Its looks really Good.'
'Sure, why not.'
They're on the last bit of the first episode, when a green shape shifter runs through the forest after stealing games in the shape of a tiger, then robin walks in. Followed by cyborg and Star fire.
'Did you guys have fun last night?' Beastboy mutters to Star fire and robin.
'What?' Robin asked.
'Nothing.'
A few hours pass and its 1 pm. They expect a ring on the bell or a knock on the door.
'Are you sure we can trust this person?' Cyborg asks.
