his story begins with a small girl named Sundae that has a big dream to be a actress. But unfortunately because of poverty this small girl became a prostitute because they are poor ever since. And her family could not barely eat 3 times a day. Insert the fact that her father is a drug user which leads to his own death. And her mother is a gambler, and what do gamblers do? They waste money on gambling which is the primary reason why they do not have enough money to eat and supply there needs. And because of her family's background in a early age of 17 years old, sundae saw everything. And now, she is now 20 years old sundae applied to different ktv bars to become a waitress or cashier, she would do anything just to survive. And because she is alone in this world, sundae's only companion is his bestfriend since she was a child. He is , Sage is a very understanding and caring person. He is not like other men that are very expressive. Sage is a silent person, he only trust Sundae. He tells sundae everything even his personal problems. Sage's family is a average family, they have enough money to supply there needs. Sage is now a college graduate. He is now working on a construction company, his salary is just enough to help him get through everyday and give back to his family. Sundae and sage always goes to a empty parking lot beside family mart when they were kids, eating some carioca while looking through the skies and teasing and making fun of each other. They would tell stories and talk about what there future would be. Sundae told sage that she always wanted to be a speech phatologist, a surgeon, or a pediatrician. Because sundae is a very friendly person and she loves children. While sage told sundae that he would like to be a engineer like he is now today.
After 3 years, sundae is still staying on sage's house. And ever since, sage do have a little crush on sundae. But as days pass by, his crush turns into a deep feeling. He now loves sundae. And same goes for sundae, she is inlove with sage ever since they first met. Sundae is now working as a prositute, she does not mind what people think of her. Sundae is planning to go back to college so she could graduate and find a better job. But sundae is not telling sage what her real job is. Sundae is only telling sage that she is working as a mall clerk, and everytime that sage is asking what mall she is working. She is only telling him that "what important is i am working and i am not a pain in your ass" And sage is just letting it pass. But at one point when sage is really curious she followed sundae to her job. And he figured out that, sundae is working on a adult bar. Where men drinks alot and pay girls just for fun. Sage is in deep shock, he did not expect that sundae would turn into a prositute. Then after this, sage came home and waited for sundae to arrive. After for several hours at 5:00 am in the morning, sage prepares breakfast and waited for sundae to come home. Then there it is sundae arrived and she was shock because he did not expect that sage is waiting for her that early. Sage asked sundae "Please tell me what your real job is" subdae replied "If i told you what my job really is, would you still accept me in this house?" Then an unexpected answer came. Sage replied "I do not care, just please be honest with me. All i am asking is for your honesty. Because i will still accept you with all my heart" Then after that, sage hugged sundae really tight while telling her "It's okay, i will be by your side for the rest of your life" Then sundae cried, because she is not expecting that sage will still accept him even though she has a bad reputation.
Months passed by and sage is not confessing to sundae. Until sundae got enough money to go back to school and found a guy that will love her like sage do. He is Art, a very good looking guy and came from a rich family. Sundae is now living on a apartment, but she is still in contact with sage. But they are not talking everyday like they used to be. Sage is in deep pain, where he drinks every night and keeps on telling himself "Why did not i confess? Wtf am i thinking? Now it is all too late. Sundae is with another guy that will love him enough. I did everything i could just to support her, didn't she saw that?" Sage keeps on doing this for a month, he keeps on blaming himself. Until he realized that his life do not revolve at sundae, that he should wake up and accept the fact that bianca is gone. After a year sage is fine and has decent job, he is now a engineer. And also, sage found his companion Margo. Sage and margo is dating for a year and sage is planning to propose to her. And sundae?? She is still with Art. They have there own house and she is now a owner of a fine dining filipino restaurant named "Luto". They are also planning to be married because they have been a couple for years.
Another year passed and sage is still with her future wife margo. They are celebrating there anniversary and he is going to propose to her on the same day. They planned to eat on Luto which is bianca's restaurant. But sage does not know that sundae owns this restaurant. While eating and enjoying the food sage told margo that he will just go to the restroom. When he gets back, he lands on his knee, picked a small box from his pocket, and when he is about to ask her. Sundae appeared and serves the food for sage and margo. Sage is shocked that he saw the first girl that he ever loved. So is sundae, she is shocked that once again she saw the man that helped her to get on back on track, and the man who loves her despite all of her flaws. After that sage still asked margo with a shaking voice "Will.... you.. uhm... marry me?" And without a doubt Margo yelled "YES!! I WILL!!" Margo lifted up sages hands and hugged him. Sundae is just there staring like she have seen a tragedy. Sundae is serving food with a broken heart, she does not know what she will do. Until she realized that she is still in love with sage, and sage is still the man that her heart wants. After this subdae got home and told her partner art that she is still inlove with her long time bestrfiend, sage. "Art, i have to tell you something. I'm still inlove with sage, i am very very sorry. I do not know that he is still the one that i love, until i saw him again." Art did not know what to say, he calms himself and said " sundae, we've been a couple for years now. I can see it in your eyes that you still love him, every night you stayed up late because of him, you keep on stalking him. I know you still love him, i'm just trying my luck if you'd love me the same way you love him. It is okay sundae, i won't force anyone to stay in my life knowing that they are still inlove with their past." While sage is very confused if he would still continue. Because sage remembered what his grandmother told him "Love when you're ready, not when you're lonely" so what sage did is he confront his own future wife and told her that he is still inlove with sundae. "Margo, you know that i have loved you. But the moment i saw sundae again, i knew inside me that i still love her. Please forgive me margo. I thought i was over her, but in the end my heart still belongs to her." Margo could not do a thing and just cried. Sage comforts her and tells her everything until she is okay.
For months sage is looking for sundae, he contact every person that thinks they know sundae's location. But every single one of them did not know. Sage visited the restaurant that sundae owns but it is now closed and it is being demolished. Sage visited sage's friends but every one of them do not have a clue where sundae is. And suddenly sage remembers the place where they always star gazed. The empty parking lot beside the family mart. Sage immediately go to his car and goes through the parking lot. There he saw the girl that drove his heart crazy, the girl that he always wanted to share every memories with, the girl that he always love since day one... sundae immediately noticed that someone is walking towards her, a man with some carioca in his hands. It was sage, the man who helped her and makes sure that she would have a successful life. The man who always admired her and loves the way she is.
When the time sage is close to sundae, he holds her hands. And hugged her really tight. He sticks his forehead on sundae's forehead while saying the words "we will not let the world change us, we will change the world."
