Concept:
After the Varchie breakup at FP's retirement party, instead of leaving she stays and meets Sweet Pea and over her breakup she finds love with someone completely new
(Setting in 2x09)

"And Veronica's late, this is just great," Kevin huffed, sinking into his chair the secret Santa party he planned wasn't doing so great.

"Calm down Kev, she'll show," Betty said sympathetically, rubbing his shoulder.

Jughead scoffed rolling his eyes, "She's probably at the Wrym, that's where I've seen her most in the last two weeks."

"Why is she at a bar on the Southside?" Archie asked, his face almost turning red.

"I don't know, her and Toni have been getting along, but I mainly see her with Sweet Pea."

"Sweet Pea?" His brows furrowed, "who's she?"

"Not she Archie, Sweet Pea is a dude," Jughead said, watching Archie's face turn a whole new shade of red.

"He's the one who showed up at your house," Jughead pointed out, remembering how Sweet Pea stormed Archie's place.

"That guy!" Reggie growled, "she's hanging out with someone who threatened us!"

Betty was about to open her mouth to stop the yelling before everything got worse, but the loud clicks of someone's heels stopped her. Turning towards the door there Veronica stood, her gifts in hand.

"Did I interrupt?" She asked, smiling going and sitting in the empty spot next to Kevin.

"No! It's time to start," Kevin clapped his hands excitedly.

The gifts were passed around as normal, people either hating or loving what they got. Veronica's eyes were glued to her phone, hiding it from everyone, but obviously texting someone. It wasn't till she got up announcing she had to leave, someone opened their mouth.

"Going back to see that serpent?" Archie spat out.

"And so what if I am? You don't own me." She scowled, storming quickly out and to the school parking lot. The sour expression she wore faded as she saw Sweet Pea already parked on his bike waiting for her.

A smirk formed on his lips, wrapping his arms around her smaller waist pulling her body close to his, "thought you said you had another 5 minutes," he hummed.

"I decided I wanted to go early," she smiled, leaning up on her tip toes to kissing his cheek.

"Than lets go, Toni and Fangs are waiting for me at the Wrym," he said, pulling away from her and helping her onto the motorcycle, than getting on himself.

She wrapped her arms tightly around him as he sped off toward the White Wrym, burying her face into his back shielding her from the cold. He parked, kicking the bike stand down and sliding off the bike, taking a hold of her hand and helping her off.

Noticing she was slightly shivering, he shrugged the heavy leather jacket off his shoulders, wrapping it around her. "You should really wear more clothes babe, it's fucking 30 degrees and you're in a skirt."

Veronica rolled her eyes, grateful for his jacket as she slipped her arms through the sleeves "What are you my dad now?"

"No, but I am your boyfriend and I'd rather not have to keep wearing extra clothes just to keep you warm," he swung his arm around her pulling her closer as they walked into the bar.

Veronica cuddled to his side, a lot warmer than before, as an older serpent directed Sweet Pea to wrap gifts at another station. She thought the whole toys for tots that the serpents did was sweet, she even brought tons of newly bought toys for their drive.

Sweet Pea sat down, pulling Veronica onto his lap, "Do you even know how to wrap gifts?" Veronica teased, picking up one of the toy boxes.

"I've been doing this a long time Princess," he handed her the pair of scissors, letting her wrap the gift.

"If you've been doing it such a long time than why am I doing your work," she said, playfully wiggling a finger around in his face.

Sweet Pea chuckled, "because you just started and took over, not my fault."

She rolled her eyes at him, continuing to wrap gifts, him helping by handing her anything she needed. Other than that he bounced her up and down gently on his knee.

Veronica's head shot up when Jughead walked through the door in an argument with his Dad, FP.

She was ignoring it until they called out Sweet Pea's name.

"Sweet Pea you're with us!" FP called out.

"Shit, Princess just stay here I'll be back," he slid out from under Veronica, planting a kiss on her forehead.

"Stay safe."

"Safe is my middle name baby," he chuckled winking at her as he walked off following FP.
