School

It was a sunny day and I had a nice blue outfit on. I got my bag and walked out side at 8:15 like Devin said. I see him and I walk over to him. " hey, ready for school?" he laughs. I smile back "yup, let's go" I say and we walk. the bright sun beamed down on us and it was nice. it was a nice silence for about 7 minutes. " so um...tell me about your self, what was your life like back in Australia" he asks. " well I had a normal life, I had a lot of friends and was happy. bus rides were the best though, once our bus broke down for 2 hours so we played music and sang" I laugh and he laughs too. he plays with his hair trying to be cool. " so for a heads up, there's a group of bad boys, about 5 of them and they bully everyone, but not in our group, well they hate the girls but we hang with them." he says. " ok, would they like me or... what" I say. " Well do you get detention often or never" he asks. " half half, I'm good but I can be bad when I'm bored" I say. we walk in the school gate to kids all in there own groups. We walk up to a bunch of guys all looking cool wearing black and there caps put on side ways. Devin gives one of the guys a guy hand shake were they hold each other's hand and pull each other into a hug. " hey Devin what up...hey who the new girl" he says looking at me. " this is Anna, she new but don't mess with her she's in our group" Devin says. " better not be one of the good girls, you do detention or to scared" he laughs. I dont. " when I'm bored I get in fights and shit, but not always" I say. " cool" he says and me and Devin walk over to our group. all the girls wore either blue or green like me. " Hey anna" Rebecca says happily. " hay guys, check out the fight at lockers, Jeff and liu getting beat up again by randy, have you meet him Anna" he asks. " yea just did, who is jeff and liu? I ask. " come on i'll show ya" spencer says and takes me and Devin to the lockers. some peoe were watching and laughing. " what you going to do about it jeff, brother can't handle being hurt" randy laughs. he punches liu and he runs off and jeff is on the ground. " randy, stop now class is starting soon" Devin says. everyone walks off. I walk up to jeff to see he had a cut lip with blood coming out. " don't worry about them jeff, bye" I say and run back up to Devin and spencer who was waiting for me. " ok let's go." I say. " Don't talk to him" spencer says sharply. " why?" I say and we get to our lockers. " cause I said, he is a loser and your not" he says again in a tone same as before. I roll my eyes.

Lunch time. our group was at the table talking. " hey, sorry I'm late I went to go bash up that freak, jeff" spencer laughs sitting next to me and devin. he started telling us what happen and everyone in our group laughed but me. I laughed a little but only to fit in.

That Friday...

We were at the park. the guys playing basketball and the girl sitting down chatting and laughing. I walk up to them and they stop the game. " hey were you been, we didn't see you come out of school today when everyone was leaving" spencer says holding the basketball in a cool way. " yea I was just slow I guess, can I play" I ask him. he nods. But I wasn't really, I went to go talk to jeff and ask if he was ok.

Flash back...

Everyone had left, but me. I was walking around and I saw jeff walking pass with his head down. " hey jeff" I say and he looks up and give me a small small, then keeps walking. " jeff wait" I say and he stops and turns. I run up to him. " are you ok?" I ask. he nods. " jeff don't lie, tell me what happen today" I say and I pull back hid hoodie gently to see his face. he had blood on his face and a cut on his lip. " nothing..." he say. I touch his face gently, I was shocked and horrified. " tell me jeff, and don't lie" I say sharply as I pull away my hand. " spencer punched me and my brother is at the doctors" he mumbles. " why don't you yell anyone" I say looking in his eyes. " they won't much, you should get back to your friends, there prove rely looking for you" he say facing the ground again. " no, I'm not, you and me are going for a walk" I say happily. " why are you being nice to me?" he says. " because back at my old school I was a bitch, I'm trying to change and I relize now I shouldn't of been like that, and I just thought.." I say not finishing, I said sadly. " yea..." jeff said looking at me waiting. " I just thought we could be friends?. like I under stand if you don't want to but..." I say but he cuts me off saying " sure, we can be friends, but what about your others friends, won't they hate you?" he says looking in my eyes. his blue eyes were charming to look at. " I don't care, your nicer than them and there bullies" I say smiling and he smiles back. " so why do they bully you and your brother" I ask as we walk out of the school doors. " well we have been here for one week before you came and I guess they don't like new kids" he says. " but I'm new and I have a lot of friends, how?" I ask. " Well when randy and his mates wanted our money and hit us cause we didn't give it to them, I punched him for hurting liu." he says. I stare at him shocked. " really, wow....you must really care for you brother" I say and he smiles. " yea i do, he has always been there for me" he says and it gives is both smiles. " hay what is your name anyway, and how do you know mine" he asks confused. " Spencer told me, and I'm Anna" I say happily. " cool" he replies. we walk around town talking about our selfs. it turns out we had a lot in common, types of sports, music, hobbies, stuff like that are all Neely the same as each other's. We walked pass the milk bar. " wanna get some food" I ask. " yea, but I have no money sorry" he says sadly. " I'll pay" I say happily and we walk in. " let's get a pack of lollies" I say and we go look at the types we could get. " what ones?". I say as we look. " um.....mixed lollies" he says and it pay. we walk out and I open the lollies. we start eating them as we walk to a random park. " let's sit on top of the monkey bars" I say and we climb up. it was 2 meters up from ground. we sit and face each other. we start talking random stuff and laugh while eating the lollies. " oh my god, have you heard that song, anaconda by nicki manaj." I laugh. " yes, it's so....strange" he laughs too. " wait, open your mouth, I'll try and get a lollie in" I say and he opens his mouth. I start throwing lollies at him but miss. I got one in out of 5. We laugh about it then I open my mouth and he gets one in easy. we keep doing this till there was no more lollies left. we talk and laugh. i look t my phone to see it was 5:03. "Shit, mum is going to freak out think I went missing." say and we jump down. " I better go, see tomorrow jeff" I say and run off. he says bye and walks somewhere else. I run all the way back to my house and tell mum I was hanging with friends. I then walk to the park to see my friends. I walk over to he basketball courts. " hay, where have you been." Devin asks. "detension" I lie and we play basketball. "don't get how you are a girl playing sport, it's just strange" spencer says throwing the ball in the hoop. "What ever, if you don't like me just say" I say sadly. " no no I really do, it's just I've never meet....dont worry" he says panicking that I was upset. then we play. " hey can I play?" We hear a girl say from behind.we all turn around to see all pale girl our age wear red short and red shirt with a red cap holding a basketball standing there. all the guys laugh. the laugh dies down and spencer walks up to her siriousely. " listen tom boy, just because you think, your a boy doesn't mean you are, got it" he says. " yea go play with a doll or Something" jake adds being mean. " wait then why Is she playing, she's a girl and you let her" she says looking at me. " yea but we like her, you don't like you, you dress like a boy" spencer laughs. " she can't even get a boyfriend" Devin adds and we all laugh. " neither can you" she spits back and we all stop laughing. " get out of here" josh yells and she runs off. we all sit down in a circle and talk. " so Anna, tonight at dark me and the boys are going to have a Bon fire here to night and roast mashmellows, wanna come?" Devin asks. " sure" I says. " and after were all coming to devins house to watch horror movies, you up for it?" spencer asks. " yea ok" I say and they smiled.

That night...

It was dark and I walked to the park where we planned to have a Bon fire. I see them siting down in a circle. I sit inbertwen spencer and devin. " hey" I say. "hey, glad you could make it" Devin says handing me a stck with a mashmellow on it. for an hour we roast marshmallows and talked. " so who do you have a crush on anna" Devin asks smiling at spencer. " no one...why?" I ask confused. " well it's just spencer...." Devin starts but spencer buts in " nothing, so um how is school anna" he says quickly. Devin laughs. I roll my eyes. we walk back to devins. we all get on the couch and I was next to spencer and Luke. Devin was next to spencer. the movie started and we were watching jack ass. we were laughing so hard we could of died of laughter. my stomach hurt of my laughing and Devin nearly fell off the couch. it was half way in the movie. " hay devin, we need more popcorn, got any?" spencer asks. " nope sorry, but we could go to McDonald's" he replies. " dipsnot" he says then everyone else says the same thing and I say it last. " fuck, I'm not walking in the dark by my self, someone come" I say pissed of but laughing. " spencer go" Devin says not looking at him, watching the TV like everyone else. spencer gets up with me. " ok what you all want" devin asks. everyone starts yelling out what they want but still staring at the tv. " Just ice cream, it would be quicker" he says and I nod. "Here is $25, be back soon" Devin hands us. we walk out the door and down the street. it was warm and not a cloud in the sky. the stars were bright. no one was alto ins and we walk in silent. " soooo...." I say board, looking at my surroundings. " ummmmm..." spencer says in the same way but trying to think of something to say. " holidays in one day" he says and another pause. "like any one, as in like like?" he says randomly looking at me. " no, not really" I say. " not really your say, does that mean you do?" he smirks trying to find out. " why would I tell you" I say making him jelouse. " tell me, please, or I will....Um....something really bad" he laughs trying to find what to do. " ok then, I like jeff, happy" I say smiling. his smile fades away to a shock look.

" Really?, he has no friends and he is just so...antisocial" he says trying to make it sound bad on what I said. " Well he is just so nice, and I thinks it's kind of cute he is shy. why do you bully him" I say. " um, he is strange, and now that you said that, i don't think I wanna be your friend" he says truthfully. I stop and glare at him and he stops and looks at me guilty. " then fuck you spencer, do you know how bitchy that sound, I'm leaving" I say and walk back to my house in the other direction. " wait anna, I didn't mean it" he yells out to me. I run back to my house and go to sleep crying.

Next day, last day...

I walk to to school by my self. I saw my group of friends but walked pass them like I didn't know them. I hear Rebecca yell out my name to come over but I keep walking. the while day I didn't talk to any one. it was the end of the day and everyone had left but me. I was at my locker getting my books and stuff. I see see walking pass with his head down. " jeff" I call. he looks up at me not changing his gloomly board mood. " wanna hang?" I ask. " well I'm going to see liu at the horspitle now dice my parents are out for the week, wanna come?" he asks. I say yes and we catch the bus there. we sits across each other on the bus and we didn't say much. " anna, do like me?" he asks confused. " well yes, I thought we were friends" I say like it's obvious. "oh" he says sadly and looks away. "what, so your saying were not" I say posses off but before he could say anything I get off the bus.t
