It was a clear sky day, faint light of the moon falling on the ground causing it to shine beautifully. It was silent, part from the noises of rustling leaves and the bickering of the two step brothers while their grandmother was reading to them a story.

The 15 year old's grandmother finished as she closed the dusty book in her hands.
"Oh that's a deep story Granny! I wanna know how it feels like to have a mate? When will I find her?" Park Jihoon, the curious little 15year old asked, rocking back and forth on his chair.
"You will my dear! You're not 18 yet. And not necessarily 18, it may even take longer." She replied smiling at the younger.
Jihoon pouted "Umm...I would like a human mate then"
Jihoon's step brother, Kang Daniel who had been quite all along spoke up "Quit it Jihoon, it's just a myth. Human mate is not even possible, besides humans are weak and stupid."
"But they are nice and sweet. And it's not a myth. Granny said, they exist." Jihoon said looking at her grandmother who was still staring at the moon, with a sad smile.
Daniel sighed his amber eyes shining in the night sky "That doesn't change the fact that they're stupid. The whole thing, It's just absurd Jihoon. Even if it's true, I wouldn't want that to happen to anyone! Not even to my enemy!"
Their Grandmother sighed not tearing her eyes from the beautiful sky.
"One never knows Daniel. One never knows. Life is too mysterious to predict anything! Life is too complicated, son."
