College days

First day

It was a fresh frosty morning in September the sun rising over a small street in a cozy village where there was a small house where our heroine resides. This girl was 16 years of age with long mousy blonde hair and hazel brown eyes she's average height and is a good student with Bs all round her name is Lily Taylor however, our young a lively heroine is snoozing away her first day of college her alarm minuets away from going off when- 'Lily!!! Wake up you'll be late!' A screech tears through the silence waking up the girl who looks sleepily at her alarm and sighs *its not even 6:30 yet* she grabs her alarm and turns it off she stands and stretches her arms and gets ready for her first day.

Thudding footsteps pound across the house lily stops at the kitchen table and grabs a piece of toast and slavers butter over it she has a healthy bite out of it and takes it with her 'bye! I'll see you later' before Lily leaves she checks her self I herself in the downstairs mirror one last time she has her hair in a bun with a grey sweatshirt on with black leggings and black trainers.

She walks out the door and heads over to the bus stop near her house that goes straight in front of her new college Dainsborough college where she is doing English literature. As she waits at the stop she notices someone else making their way to her a girl her age wearing a green lanyard just like hers this girl had short brown hair with dull green eyes she's smaller than lily not by much through. The girl glances over to lily and noticed the lanyard 'hi there you going to DC?' Asks the girl 'yeah it's my first day! You?' 'Same for me my names Sally' 'my names lily nice to meet you!' Just then the bus comes into the view lily puts her arm out to signal the bus to stop the girls pay and get there tickets and sit on the bus the girls chat back and forth on the bus ride there and the 20 minuets it takes to get there seemed to fly by 'by the way sally what course are you doing?' 'English literature' 'me too!!' The girls get off the bus at the front of the college they both look at each took a deep breathe and smiles and walked inside to find their classroom.

When the girls found their classroom they saw a mix of girls and boys in the room all in a seat so the girls find a table with two boys already at it they go up to them 'anyone else sitting here?' They shake their heads letting the girls sit with them lily looks over to one of the boys with black hair and brown eyes he was medium built and tall and lily could feel her face feel flushed when the boy almost caught her staring 'what's your name?' Lily asks the black haired boy ' my names Finley but you can call me Fin' he smiles at her making her flush red even more before she can get to know him any better the tutor comes into the room and begins the class.

As the day draws on it gets to lunch time 'I can't believe that tutor has already given us an assignment we haven't really been taught much in it yet what do we do lily!?' Lily looks over to sally with a grim look on her face 'well whatever it is we'll do it together besides we only have to say until 3 o'clock then we get to go home and it's almost 1 now' the girls smile at each other and they eat their lunch. The day ends and the girls head for the bus when a similar black haired boy comes into view 'Fin!' He looks back at the girls 'you get this bus too? Where's your stop?' 'Yeah we do we both get off near vine street what about you?' ' I get off at Terras street so 3 stops away from you' the bus comes to the stop and the girls sit near Fin Sally whispers to lily 'this is your chance you sit next to him!' Lily looks flushed but does so anyways the girls chat to Fin all the way until his stop before he leaves he asks 'hey there's a study group I've made with my mates after 3 in the library want to come?' Sally looks knowingly at lily as she scowls at her friend 'well both come see you soon!' She waves him bye and the girls squeal at the prospect of seeing the boys.

Lily gets home saying bye to sally she gets in her house with a huge smile in her face rushing upstairs with excitement while outing her pjs on not knowing as she gets into her bed that she never put on her alarm.
