Chapter 3
●●●
Jungkook decided to do something along the lines. At least he initiated a meet up. Not by calling Taehyung. By asking his boss for a photoshoot with the young model. Content with the idea he gave his permission and here Jungkook was, two weeks later at the set of Vogue, gathering his equipment, anxiously waiting for Taehyung to arrive.
Jungkook did some thinking. He was well aware that he was being stupid before and still wasn't sure why he had acted like that, aside from the fact that it was probably a defense mechanism. Trying not to get his hopes up and hurting others in the process. God he was an asshole.
He had also spent a lot time thinking about the past and had come to the conclusion that no matter whether Taehyung had changed or not... he kind of wanted to at least talk to him. After all, this was the guy he had spent all high school crushing on. Especially because Taehyung had pretty much defined what Jungkook's type later turned out to be. The more look alike the better. Jungkook dating people had overall been a kind of sad experience.
When Taehyung finally entered the room Jungkook almost didn't notice him. His hair was falling over his eyes, almost hiding the blue contact lenses he was wearing. He had a bit of make up on and wore a wide baby blue pullover that made Jungkook wonder where the hell the man had gotten it from. After all it was a size that made the tall guy look small.
Taehyung's eyes were searching the room quietly before he spotted whatever he had been searching for and his face lit up.
Jungkook was kind of baffled. Taehyung looked different. Almost like a taller more handsome version of his younger self and it really made Jungkook question a lot of things. One of them being why the hell Taehyung had showed up in a black blouse and headband at the class reunion, looking like the hot CEO you would see in a K-drama and was now running around, his look screaming Babyboy all over the place.
Jungkook watched as Taehyung slid into the chair of one of the stylists, happily smiling and talking to her. Jungkook knew that smile damn well. He had seen it a lot in the past. Also, he really WAS quite the judgmental dick. Since when had he been this shallow? How many times had he judged a person wrongly due to their appearance? He really wasn't sure anymore.
Sighing to himself, he got up from where he was sitting, grabbed one of his cameras and started fumbling around with it. When he looked up again, he noticed Taehyung's co-star for the shoot sitting by her makeup artist.
He pressed his lips into a thin line. He had worked with her before. She was nice and all, but working with her in a couple photoshoot was quite the pain in the ass. She had quite the reputation in his line of work, for being scared of guys. Not that she didn't manage talking to them. She just always looked at edge when there was a male model in the picture as well, which made Jungkook's job of taking a great picture a lot harder. His goal was natural. A girl leaning into her boyfriend gripping onto the edge of her dress, as stiff as a piece of wood and with a scared expression on her face just wasn't it.
Jungkook watched as both Taehyung and Irene were in the mask and got the last finishing touches of their make-up. Taehyung, of course, had done another 180 and went from soft features light make up and wide clothing to leather jacket, jeans, a wide black T-shirt underneath and darker make up. And, again, dark strong eyebrows.
Irene had the same look, just the female version with a black dress, a black to red smudged lipstick and her long black hair falling in soft waves down her shoulders. Jungkook watched as Taehyung walked up to her and the two of them exchanged a couple of words before hugging shortly.
