Evie's POV

Today is the day.  The day I'm finally going to do it.  The day I'm not going home.  The day I escape.  The day I earn my freedom.

I'm currently at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, my safe place.  My parents don't know that I'm here, that just know that I'm out of the house.  At least, I think they do.  They don't care about me, at all.  Which is the reason as to why I'm planning this today.

I'm not going home after the pizzeria closes today, I'm going to hide.  I'm hopeful that no one will find me.  They don't have great guards in this place, during the day.  And I kind of hope that it's the same at night.  I can't get caught, it would ruin everything.

Huh- it's closing time, 8:30 pm.  I need to hide.  Looking around, the only place I can see that's good enough to hide is in Pirate's Cove.  I quickly run over there while I'm positive that no one is watching me.  I duck behind the curtains, and crawl behind the out of order animatronic, Foxy.

I look up at him, knowing that he could be dangerous.  But he's powered off, and can't hurt me now.  There's a small bundle of old curtains in the back corner that I'm in, and I hear someone that's most likely a security guard walking closer.  I quickly crawl under the curtains and watch as they shine a light around, not spotting me.

They leave, and I let out a grateful exhale.  People outside are talking, then I hear the doors shut and lock.  It's completely silent.  I smile, and notice that the curtains, though extremely dusty, are very soft.  I curl up, and slowly fall asleep.

Foxy's POV

I saw that girl run past me, but I can't move yet, not until nine.  I have maybe fifteen minutes until then.  I know we normally don't move until midnight, but we are able to move before that.  We just make sure not to get caught.

As my internal clock hits nine, I relax from my position.  I stretch quickly and turn around.  Surprisingly, I see the girl wrapped up in the old curtains, sleeping.  She seems so peaceful.  But why would she hide in here after hours?

I walk over to her, and crouch down.  She looks to be somewhere from 8 to 12.  I wonder why she came in here for.  Is it just to hide?  Or is she going to do something when she wakes up?  Like, break into the kitchen or steal one of the back up heads from the backstage storage?

I carefully put my metal hand on her arm and shake her gently.  She makes this strange noise, and her eyes open.  She looks at me and tilts her head.  She doesn't seem scared of me, just curious.  But why?

"Lass, what are ye doing here?" I ask her.  She looks at the curtains.

"Hiding."

This has me slightly confused.

"Why?"

"I don't want to go home..."

I don't press when she said that, because it was said in a different tone than what most kids say it in.  She said home with resentment.  I decide to try to make a conversation with her.

"What's yer name?"

"Evie.  And I know that you're Foxy."

I chuckle.  "Ye got that right, lass.  So, why aren't ya scared of me like most people?"

"Because I know the bite wasn't your fault," she whispers.  I look at her, surprised.

"Thank ye lass.  I suppose I could let you stay here, but you need to stay in the cove at all times.  Only come out during the day when the pizzeria is full.  Otherwise, you could be hurt," I explain.  She nods, which surprised me.

"Okay."

Hm...maybe this lass isn't gonna be that bad to have in here.

Evie's POV

I hear a bell ring, and I'm going to guess it's midnight.  Foxy suddenly stops talking to me and turns around, completely still.  The curtains are closed, and I can tell that Foxy is doing whatever he normally does on the night.

I watch him carefully, as he moves the curtains slightly each time the camera's light isn't blinking and isn't focused on the cove.  He opens the curtain wide enough to step out, and I duck closer to the wall, trying to stay hidden.

Foxy then bolts away from the cove and down the hallway, one that I haven't been down.  I head a thud and screeching, but Foxy returns to the cove, looking salty.  I don't speak, I just watch as he shuts the curtain again.

He looks over to me and sees me watching curiously, to which he just smiles.  He winks at me and I give him a half smile back.  The process of him running through the halls happens several more times before the 6 am bell ring.

But...I feel like the camera may have caught my movement once.  Let's hope not.

Mike's POV

Damn it, the fox is more active than he would be tonight.  I keep flipping through the camera's and checking the doors.  One of the times I check Pirate's Cove, I spot something in the background move as Foxy stands outside it.  And I also catch a glimpse of an eye...holy shit, PLEASE don't tell me that there's a new animatronic!

But...it hasn't attacked.  Okay, let's hope it stays that way, please.
