Chapter One; Second Chances

Noah and Chiyo were running. Zombies had invaded the military base and they were finally free. They rushed, having fought off plenty of zombies and was now weaken considerably. They stopped in front of machine, coughing up blood. Chiyo looked up and saw her old childhood friend inside, looking as if he were some science project. Chiyo was angry, but she didn't have the strength to do anything, not even help him. Then suddenly, she collapsed.

"Do you want to start over?" said a voice coming from the pitch black room. "Of course I do.." Chiyo said, her voice sounding unfamiliar. Then suddenly, she woke up in a hospital bed.

Chiyo slowly woke up and looked around. "When am I?" She asked as she clutched her head. She looked at the date by the phone next to her. 'That explains the migraine. With all the powers there was, time travel doesn't seem entirely impossible.'

Chi then looked at the IVs in her arm and took them out. "Lord, needles are a pain." She cursed as she took her outfit and got dressed. As she was putting on her shoes, a nurse came in. Chiyo grabbed a bandage and wrapped it around her arm and hand. "Hey, I'm leaving. Tell the doctor or don't, I don't really give a fuck." She hummed coldly. "Miss, Please lay back down--" the nurse said worridly. "Give a message to the head of the hospital. '0334'" Chi said.

"0334?" The nurse questioned. "Yes, please tell her to write it down and keep it on her, even if the worst is to happen." Chiyo said, fixing her collar. In the future, the head of the hospital had been ambushed by a group of zombies because she was so focused on entering a code in some locked box. Maybe giving her the code might help her, but it was entirely up to the head and how she responded.

Chiyo pushed pass the nurse and quickly made her way down to the bottom floor in the elevator. Then, she took off running. She needed to get to Neo first. She ran as fast as she could and eventually made it to Neo's house, though at the cost of almost having an asthma attack. She wheezed as she caught her breath and knocked on the door. A women, one of the maids, answered the door.

"I'm here to see Noah and Neo." Chiyo said. The maid seemed a bit shock. Chiyo knew the maid, she went by the name Nao. As long as Nao had known Chi, she's never heard Chi call Noah by his actual name. Nao let Chiyo in and Chiyo ran upstairs. Noah came second, right now she needed to see Neo. She rushed to Neo's room and saw the door was open.

She peered in and saw Noah talking to Neo. She didn't care though, she ran in, pushed Noah to the side and hugged Neo, which seemed to surprise the boy. "Your okay..." She mumbled to herself.

"Of course I'm okay, why wouldn't I be?" Neo huffed, pushing the girl off of him. Chi tried to say something, but her voice wouldn't let her speak. She wanted to tell him everything. Her heart then began to ache, causing an incruciating pain. "You cannot tell anyone about the future, it's against The laws." A voice in her head rang.

The pain subsided and Chiyo felt a little light headed. Her collar glowed red. They were speaking, but she couldn't hear them. Everything was blurring. Before she knew it, she had collapsed in Neo's arms. Noah was kicked out of Neo's room, however he allowed Chiyo to stay. "Idiot..." He mumbled as he stroke her hair. Her head was on his lap and was sound asleep. She looked so fragile while she slept, as if she could break at any moment.

-An hour or two Later-
Chi slowly opened her eyes and saw a sleeping Neo. 'He always did look cute sleeping...' She thought before her face turned bright red. What was she thinking? She tried to get up without waking him, but he awoke when she finally managed to calm her heart. He looked at her sleepily. "Your awake.. about time..." He said, his tired voice making her heart skip a beat.
