Lola's POV
That night I had the most awful nightmare.
Nightmare
I was laying down in the maze. But it wasn't just me, it was everybody. We tried to find our way, but that's when the Grievers came. They killed everyone. They saved Newt to kill right in front of me. They almost stung him.
That's when I woke up. I woke up to Newt shaking me. "Are you alright" he asked. "Yeah. Why" I asked. "You were screaming in your sleep" he replied. "Sorry" I apologised. "Don't apologise. We all have nightmares. Do you want to talk about it" he said/asked. "Yeah" I replied.
So I told him. I told him everything. From us waking up in the maze to everyone getting killed. I told him about them saving him for me to watch. I told him about him almost getting killed.
"Why do you care about me so much" he asked. I took a minute and thought about that. Why do I care about him so much.
That's when it hit me.
I love him.
