Once Toga and Compress had gotten far enough away from the ice cream shop, Compress set her down and deactivated his quirk after the according marbles had been placed in each of their hands. Toga was still a little hyper and excited after all of that, so she was bouncing around all over the place - unable to stay completely still for longer than half a second. Compress stares down at her and then back to their ice cream with a triumphant smirk. He'd never done anything like that before and his reasoning behind trying so hard eluded him. He was happy, nonetheless; Toga was smiling. While Compress was distracted, Toga's eyes scanned the city in search of other things that could occupy her when nobody was trying to talk to her. Eventually, she was reminded of the fact that she needed another coloring book because she'd filled up the last one with scribbles and unreadable words. She tugs on Compress' sleeve and points at another store just ahead of them and he looks down at her before pulling a napkin out of his pocket and wiping away the small mess of ice cream that had managed, somehow, to get even to the tip of her nose. She squints and closes her eyes at his doing so, then when he's finished she pulls on his sleeve a little more. Compress looks up before nodding in understanding and taking her hand again to cross the street. They get there and as soon as Compress lets go of her hand, the hyper little blonde runs off somewhere. "Silly," He hums to himself as he watches her disappear from his sight. After a few minutes of waiting, Compress' ears perk slightly at the quiet sound of her footsteps against the tile flooring as she runs up to his side, holding a small coloring book with a butterfly on the front of it. He activates his quirk on the little book in her hands and pockets it before walking casually out the door with Toga - nobody was watching and, so long as the item was compressed, it wouldn't set off any alarms.

He leads her back to their base and she runs off to her room to go color in her new book. Compress sits down at a bar stool and Kurogiri hands him a wine glass, filled nearly to the brim. "... It's not even afternoon, Kurogiri-kun. I think it's a little too early for wine..." Compress reasons as he takes a sip anyway, "But... She is a little handful, isn't she?" He chuckles and Kurogiri cleans a few glasses. "I suppose." Kurogiri replies quietly as Twice runs out of the hallway. "Ya got ice creaM!? Why don'T ya eveR taKe me witH yA!?!?" he whines and hops around. Compress saw this coming, which is why he'd gotten a little for Twice, too. He tosses Twice a marble and deactivates his work on it before Twice runs away, now content. "Aaaaaand she absolutely cannot keep her mouth shut." Compress sighs as he rests his chin on his hand before noticing the subtle glare Kurogiri was sending his way. "... She didn't touch breakfast, Atsuhiro-kun." Kurogiri mutters in a husky voice and Compress face-plants on the counter, preparing himself for the short lecture he was about to get from the league mom.

Toga laid with her chest pressed against her pillow, feet kicking slowly and happily as she scribbled inside and out the lines of the colorless drawings inside her book. Tomura knocks on the door before face-palming, remembering that she wouldn't be able to hear that. Instead, he flickered the light switch on and off until she got up and opened the door. He looks around before signing, 'You need some light in here.' Toga crosses her arms as Tomura lets himself in and pulls open the curtains, letting in a wall of sunlight that had been trying so desperately to enter her room since dawn. She hisses and squints at the sudden light, jumping back into bed and pulling the covers up to her forehead. He sighs and sits next to Toga, or what appeared to be a small lump under the sheets. He presses his hand against the top of her head, using only four fingers to keep from hurting or harming her. The tense that had made its way to Toga's shoulders faded away as she slowly began to relax, happy at the feeling of anybody being kind to her in that way again. Tomura wasn't usually this way - - not by any means. The truth was, he did feel a small amount of sympathy for her. He continued until he could hear the soft purring of her drifting to sleep, and he left her alone after that. Maybe she was a little tired - after all, she'd been running all over the place with Compress, so a nap in the middle of the day would've definitely felt nice to her. She wouldn't have been able to sleep if it weren't for him stopping by, though. Toga had grown a little anxious at the thought of sleeping ever since she'd lost hearing. All it was to her now was a void; she couldn't hear anything, see anything, or feel anything but the warmth of the covers wrapped tightly around her. Her dreams were inaudible, the context and words spoken whilst she slept were things she couldn't make out or understand, and it frightened her to some extent. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, she'd just cry. She couldn't hear herself so she often woke up members of the league sleeping in rooms just outside hers'. When that happened, they needed to wake her up and sit with her until she fell asleep again. They all took shifts for that because it happened so often, and it wasn't like they didn't enjoy staying with her, they were just tired. On the rare occasion that it didn't happen, they all slept through the night peacefully.
