“Sorry for the mess, i haven't cleaned up lately.”
Eddie chuckled lightly, and said, “Its okay, my place isn't much better. Maybe even worse.”

We sat and talked for a bit, playing around. Somehow..Eddie made the bad thoughts slip right out of my mind. Easily. It was weird..cause sometimes Jerry couldnt say a sweet enough thing to do it..and Sean could say a dumb enough thing to make me laugh even. But Eddie could…

I could tell that the alcohol had kicked into both of our bodies now. We were drunk as fuck at that point. Eddie was a bit hyper, and I was acting like a fool all for fun.

“Yo, I'm getting tired.” Eddie said, with what seemed like a fake ass yawn. I chuckled and said, “Then go to bed.”

He shot me a smile, then ran his fingers through my (now) short hair. I smiled back and looked him in his eyes. Blue hitting blue, just like in the beginning of the day, when he was on my porch. Even through our olive skin tones, you could tell we were blushing.

I saw Eddie's eyes flick down to my lips, then back at my eyes again. I felt real anxious..but the good kind? I heard him chuckle lightly, then he slowly leaned in. I stayed still, wondering if he'd go all the way. Then he stopped- right in front of me..
