Description:

During your opponent's turn: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls whose ATK is less than or equal to their LP, destroy that face-up monster, and if you do, take damage equal to its original ATK, then inflict damage to your opponent, equal to the damage you took. You can only activate 1 "Ring of Destruction" per turn.

I enjoyed playing games of yugioh for long stretches. Ring of Destruction prevented a lotalot of long stretches. It allowed for us to hand in our match slips faster, and It allowed for faster food and smoke breaks. I mean, Dear God, If we both played our Rings, then I couldn't imagine the game going past the 3rd or 4th turn. I wonder how many games have ended with Ring of Destruction being the last card being played.. alot I assume. There are few trap cards on this list in comparison to other cards. It is self fulfilling because you were recommended, 7 trap cards per deck. I didn't always follow that formula, but when I did, Ring of Destruction was always in my deck amongst the best trap cards in the game. It was damning to have your BIGGEST and only Non-Jinzo monster hit with Ring of Destruction, when you had nothing else because the Ring damage, plus my opponents swing back on their turn, would probably be enough to kill me. I remember attacking for X000, then Ring of Destruction on my OWN Black Luster Soldier after combat would be enough to seal the deal.
