I woke up in the middle of the night to hear someone moving things around downstairs. I grabbed a knife from the kitchen (my room is on one side of the kitchen and the living room is on the other side) and went downstairs, only to see a man with curly brown hair looking at me. He looked very gentle.
??- Woah Woah. Put the knife down.
J- First tell me who you are.
S- I'm Shawn. I'm a friend of Ryders. I go to Royal Valley high. I wanted to surprise him because he came back. He gave me your address so I could come tomorrow, but I thought I'd come early. (Thats my school. Oops.)
Why does his name sound so familiar?
J- Oh really? How come I've never met you?
S- Whats your name?
J- Jesse.
S- Jesse Cruz?
J- Yeah, why?
S- I'm Shawn Mendes. My last name used to be Cruz. Mendes is my moms maiden name.
J- Mendes was my moms maiden name too.
S- You really don't remember me, do you?
J- Should I?
S- Jesse. I'm your brother.
J- Peter?
S- Hi Rainy.
J- Oh my god. Peter!
I jumped into his arms and hugged hi. I was crying at this point.
R- Jesse..? Shawn...? What..?
J- Hey Ryder.
R- Whats going on...?
J- You remember how I told you that I had a brother that was taken away from me when I was 2?
R- Yeah?
J- Well. Shawn is that brother.
R- What??? Now that I look at you... You do look the same.
S- well now you know why.
