"Ahh, fresh air seems like a luxury after being trapped underground for a few centuries," a hoarse voice said.
The person climbed out from the hole they had been trapped in for the past couple centuries. Although they were millions of years old their magic made it seem as if they weren't a day over 18. They walked for a while until they came about a used to be field now turned wasteland.
"Tsk tsk tsk, Human have really abused the earth since the last time I've been here. Not to worry though, by the time I'm through with them they won't be able to do anything anymore."
They figure braces themselves against the ground, the force used to power their jump cracking the solid earth beneath them. They shot up almost out of the atmosphere, then came their decent, and right before they hit the ground jet black wings shot out of their back lifting them into the air.
"Now to find my one and only other half, the one who put me in this mess."
Gliding on wings as silent as an owls the person like creature smiled ready to either take revenge or gain an accomplice or two in their goal to eradicate or enslave the humans and mages. Either way they would be happy and nothing could deter their plan.
