Wow. What just happened?
Did he just? No. And why is he looking at me like that? Anyway I have bigger things to worry about.
First, my dad's request
Second, their concert which is in three hours.
- Guys you've got to go. Follow me please. I see a staff member say as the guys nod. They each pass me by and take the clothes designated for them.
- Nice, says one of them. Johnny I believe.
- Glad you like it. I say. Oh no! I'm not supposed to talk to them... like this.
- Staff? Huh, thanks. He says simply, leaving me with a puzzled face. I finally get in a van that follows theirs close behind along with the stylist and some other staff members. Once we get there, we all hop out as fans go a little crazy. I mean I would too, seeing them from that perspective. We get to the dressing room and I am to hand them each their outfit as the stylist makes some final decisions. Suddenly I see my dad. His two body guards follow. I approach them but keep a good distance still.
- Do you have it? My dad asks his secretary who seemed to be waiting here for him.
- Yes sir.
- Alright now place it in his costume bag somehow.
- Sir, how exactly? Asks the secretary.
- Oh.... wait here. I see my dad walking towards the entrance and move out of the way. He comes out and smiles when he sees me. I smile back.
- Hey, y/n, can you add this to the leader's costume? The stylist left it at my office. He says. No way. That's a lie.
- Sure. I take it and as he walks away, I get in a corner and take a better look at what's in the plastic bag.
It's simply a belt with fake containers on it for the song. I smile. Dodged a bullet there...but then I notice that one of the container's button is off and the container is open. I reach out to fix it and take out a small plastic bag. A bag of... weed?!?! What the hell?! No way! Is this part of my dad's plan? Huh, fine. I throw the bag in the garbage and hand the belt to the stylist who hands it to the handsome man wearing the perfectly fitted outfit. Wow. What's wrong with me? He notices me and smiles. I smile back. If only he knew what a bullet he dodged. If I tell him now, he might get distracted from his performance. I'll tell him later. Once he finishes he sits on the couch and takes out his phone. I immediately take out my phone too.Today at 3:11 pm
TY: hey
Hi
TY: are you alright?
Yeah why?
TY: you looked a bit pale earlier.
Am fine. Like your clothes?
TY: they're alright.
So what's up?
TY: just making sure you were fine.
Lol just fine thx.
Suddenly Jaehyun approaches.
- Hey.
- Oh? Hi, anything you need? I ask.
- Well there is this issue with my jacket, he says pointing at a misplaced zipper.
- Oh god. I say bursting into laughter. What happened here? I say playfully pulling off the broken zipper. He gets shocked after staring at me in a sweet yet awkward way. Wait? What is that all about? He doesn't give me the time to think about it as he takes the zipper.
- Ugh. He says. Great.
- Give that back! I say jumping up and down feeling as small as ever.
- Can I just not wear the jacket? He questions.
- No! Jaehyun, that's part of the costume. I say. Suddenly they call them on stage. I shake my head as Jaehyun takes his jacket off and runs on stage. I stand there with his jacket on my head. I sigh and put it away.I stand backstage watching them perform. I've got to say, they're amazing. Although I was mostly looking at Taeyong. So much charisma...
Once they finish, they come out and I am to hand them their towels. Taeyong comes out last and as I congratulate him, he looks at me as if, as if he was disappointed.
- Don't do such things. He says suddenly.
- Wha- what do you mean? I ask taken aback.
- Don't do such things when it's Jaehyun you like. He says. I was shook at how straightforward he was. What?! Me? Liking Jaehyun? He is sad because of that? He said what? That I like Jaehyun. I can't help but laugh bitterly. So he thinks I like Jaehyun?!
Huh,
How stupid.
