"Nyla get up!" I heard but i was halfway sleep so i thought it was just a dream so i ignored it.

"Nyla get up you gone be late!" I heard again and i knew that was my mom voice so i shot up.

"Im up, Im Up" i said itching my eyes

I got up and looked at my phone seeing it said 6:30 and a text.

It was from king.

Da Bae😩❤: You coming to school today?

Me: Yeah i just got up see you there

After i ended the conversation i went to brush my teeth and wash my face and get dressed. I really didnt know what to wear. I hated trying to find a outfit cause it took me like 10 minutes.

So i just went with a pink 2 piece and my white huraches. I didnt care how i looked today so i just let my hair down and let it be messy a little bit.

I did my eyebrows and put on some accessories and got my bookbag and was finna head downstairs.

"Come on LaLa you already making us late" shawn said heading out the door

"Boy shut up no i didnt. bye ma!" I said yelling so she can hear

"Bye yall have a good day!" She yelled back.

We loaded up the car and drove off.

"Shawn stop at McDonald's im hungry"

"Bro you do too much it was food at the house you could've ate at home" he said

"Well if you wasnt rushing me i couldve ate" i said back

"Mannn what ever" he said going to the McDonald's by the school

When we pulled into the drive thru i ordered me a egg McMuffin and a hash brown with a orange juice.

"Your total is $7.89"

I gave shawn my card to give to the person at the window and i got my food and we headed to school.

"Alright see you later nappy head ass boy" i said jokingly to shawn

"Yeah ight fast ass" he said back

As i was walking to my locker to get my books for my first hour class i saw king with his group of friends down the hall.

I didnt pay attention to him tho i just looked down at my phone and put my air pods in, i dont know why but i get nervous around him.

"Yeah she bad bro but she aint as bad as my new girl" i said to brian my homeboy
