I sucked in a breath as I looked at the three. Tony looked at me with regret for what he did in his eyes. Elijah was revealed with tears threatening to fall. Lastly I looked at Niklaus. He looked at me with hurt and anger in his eyes, tears already trickling down his cheeks.
"Bellatrix. Is this really you?" Tony spoke so I broke my eye contact with Nik to look at him. I nodded my head and heard him mutter 'oh god'.
"Indeed, it is me, Anthony." I said not being able to give him fathers title. It wounded him that I didn't call him 'father' or 'dad', so he looked down. But what did he want me to say? 'Hello, dad. I missed you'? That's hilarious. I looked back at the two.
Just as Elijah was about to say something, Nik flashed in front of me, taking me in a chokehold and lifting of off the floor.
In an instant Albus had his wand pointing at Nik, as well as Loki had his dagger out pointing at Nik's neck. I tried to free my neck out of his hold but he wouldn't budge.
I started seeing black dots flying across my eyes and flicked my hand, sending him across the room. I fell to my knees, one hand supporting me while other one was massaging my neck as I gasped for air.
Elijah came to me, extending his arm for me to take. I slapped it away which caused sparks in me from our contact. I slowly stood up and glared at Niklaus as he did the same.
"How dare you?!" Niklaus roared pointing his finger at me and taking threatening steps closer.
"How dare you!" I shouted back, my voice harsh.
"Why did you leave!? Why did you run? From me?" By the end his voice got quieter and he was standing too close for my liking. When I didn't answer, his anger rose. "ANSWER ME!"
"BECAUSE! If my memorie serves me well, you two said you love me. You promised to love me, always and forever." I spit out the last part. "But then I overheard your conversation," I pointing at Elijah, Rebekah and Nik, "no, more like an argument. That would be considered eavesdropping, but I'm glad I did. Otherwise I would have still be living in your lies!"
Elijah and Nik looked down. I breathed out three times to calm down and looked at Dumbledore, who looked amused by the scene in front of him.
"I need to talk with you, Professor. Alone." I looked at him and he nodded his head.
"Yes, of course. Please wait for me outside the door." He said and everyone cleared out of his office.
As soon as the door was closed, I started pacing back and forth. "Seriously?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We need them to defeat Voldemort." Albus looked at me as I was pacing around.
I came to a halt stop in the middle of the room. "But why them? I mean, they are just a bunch of clowns in spandex and mosquitoes."
"You do know that they can hear you, right?" Dumbledore raised his eyebrows in amusement.
"You know that I don't care, right? We don't need them, you have me. You know what I am and you know how powerful I am."
"Yes, we have you, but we need all help we can get." I huffed and crossed my arms. "That's why I need you to stay at Hogwarts."
My eyes widened as they followed after his figure behind the desk. "What?" I asked in disbelief.
"You will be staying here at Hogwarts but not as a student, seeing as you have already graduated. And you are little bit too young to be a teacher so you will be as a coach for your house." He said still in his calm tone.
I groaned and pinched the bridge of my nose. "Fine, alright. But where will they be staying then?"
"Some of them will be sorted into Houses, like Loki. Others will be teacher assistants." Albus explained.
I slowly nodded my head. "And what will they be doing here? Fine, I get it, they are here to 'help' us. But what will they do till the battle comes? None of them are witches. Sure there is a Wiccan witch, the 'natures servant'" I mimicked. "And there are some sorcerers. But none of them are Wandwielders. What will you say to students when, for example, in transfiguration class they can't do a spell, or don't even have a wand to do that. I'm sure 'The Golden Trio' will rise many questions to that."
"About that. That's the second thing why you are here. To students I'm going to say that they are on an exchange program from America and that they teach them differently there. So after all classes you are going with them to Room of Requirements where you will train them for a battle with a witch." When he finished that I looked at him gaping in disbelief.
"A real witch, might I say." I corrected him. "I don't really have a say in a matter, do I?" I asked still looking at him with deadpan expression.
"No, not really. Our vampire guests need blood, that I think you could fetch up in a blood bank. And for tonight they will be staying at Room of Requirement, so if you could be so kind to escort them there, since it usually answer to you. Oh and please, give them the tour."
"Whatever. You know, I'm letting you order me around only because of what you did to me all those years ago. But next time will not be an exception." I pointed a finger at him and he waved his hand, as if saying I'm free to go now.
I turned around and went out through the door. Every person looked at me and I didn't look at any of them, just waved my hand for them to follow.
I didn't look back to see if they have followed me as I went down the stairs.
I felt someone link our arms together and didn't even have to look up to know that it was Loki. I placed my palm on his arm and squeezed it gently.
"So what have you been up to? Haven't heard from you lately." Loki started the conversation.
"Ah, you know. Usual stuff. Reading, traveling, torturing. It's boring all alone in my castle. You should come visit me sometimes." Loki shook his head and laughed softly. That rised a shock between his teammates since I think he doesn't do that very often. And when does it usually to no good. "What about you?"
"Uh.. Dealing with my oaf of a brother and your so called 'father', and being a part of 'Earths mightiest heroes'."
"You? And a hero? I though I'll never hear those two things in one sentence." We shared a laughter and came across the library where I stopped and everyone stood around me. "This is the library." I addressed everyone. "Students come either here or to the Great Hall to do their homework. Or just to read. Whatever. Let's continue on and be done with it."
I turned to walk further down the halls, my arm still linked with Loki.
We continued walking with occasional small talks between me and Loki, and small, quite chatter from behind, mostly Nik and Elijah arguing and some teenage boy gaping at everything. I showed them where which class was. Soon we came to the last place, the Great Hall.
I unlinked my arm from Loki and with a flick of my arm opened double doors. In front of us was an enormous, marvelous room. Collons lining across the walls, four long tables places in an equal distance between each other. Ceiling was littered with candles flying up high and a view of the sky in it.
I walked in, with my arms open, hips swaying to sides duo to me wearing heels. "And this, this is The Great Hall. We have breakfast, lunch and dinner here, many events happen here, as does the meetings. These four tables are for four houses." We walk further in, towards Professor table. "To the left is Ravenclaw, middle-left is for Slytherin," I say pointing my left arm in that direction, "then to the right is Hufflepuff, and middle-right is Gryffindor. Table at the end of the Hall is for professors and for those of you who will be as assistants."
I finished my ramble and turned to look at the all, who looked around in awe. I let them take in mesmerizing view and then clapped my hands.
"Now we shall go to your sleeping chamber for tonight as tomorrow, you will be sorted into Houses."
