My eyes snap open. I look around. My room. I’m back in my room. I try to prop myself up using my elbows but the stinging pain from last night tears through my body and I fall back into my sheets.

“Why me? Why am I the one that has to be put through this pain?”

I gingerly rolled over and looked at my nightstand. A candy wrapped in shiny plastic layed on it innocently. I grabbed it and unwrapped it. It was a sickly green color that looked like puke. I put it in my mouth nonetheless and instantly smiled. It was so sweet and delicious.

    I close my eyes.

I woke up to the sound of my door opening.

    “It’s time to wake up.”

    Mom.

“What do you mean? It’s Saturday…” I said rolling over.

“You’re meeting some friends at Wendy’s or something today, remember?”

I practically jumped out of bed. As I ran down the hall I yelled back, “Yeah thanks!”

I had completely forgot. I hadn’t seen them in ages. Chris, Lynne, and Alice were their names. We were the unbreakable four. Often times we would meet at a fast food place or something and just talk or play Minecraft together and try to stun each other with our creations. We were all pretty good but it was difficult to decide the best due the contrast and variations in subject of our builds. I would have a town while Lynne would have a ship, Alice an arena, and Chris an amusement park.

Alice described that it was like comparing apples and oranges.

As I was running around the house, my pants half on and my shirt clutched in my hands, my mother gathered my laptop and Ipad in a bag. I finished dressing and cleaning myself up and snatched it out of her hands.

Today we were meeting at Wendy’s, our usual place.

I rushed to the garage and grabbed my bike and helmet. In an instant I was off.

A/N Yeah that was short and pointless but I have a reason. Also, I appologize for the long wait for the update. Hopefully next time it won't take so long
