Dancing With Cameron Boyce: Together Again (discontinued)

Chspter Six

The clock struck 9:30 and everyone made their way outside to the bus, leaving their backpacks and school books in their lockers. Asia hopped on the bus and found a place to sit. She plopped herself down and pulled her Ipod out of her dance bag, only to make her small penguin dressed up as a ballet dancer fall out. “Shoot” she said and quickly picked it up and stuffed it back in there, hoping no one saw it.

“I see you brought it with you” a voice said. Asia’s heart skipped a beat. She looked up, but then relaxed when she found out that it was Cameron.

“Told you I always have it whenever I am about to dance” she smiled.

“I know. I too have my lucky ‘charm’ as well”

“And hopefully this time no one will know about them” Asia smiled.

“Hope so” he said taking a seat next to her.

After several minutes, everyone was finally on the bus and Edwards was the last one to hop in. “Alright everyone. Now, before we go to the studio, I need to take roll call to double check that everyone has left the school. Benjamin”

“Here!”

“Michelle”

“Here”

“So how was the first part of school?” Asia asked as Edward continued to read the names out.

“It was nice. First I had Maths, and then I had Biology”

“Cameron”

“Here”

“That’s cool. I had Biology then English”

“Asia”

“Here!”

“Cool” Cameron said.

Asia smiled at him and said “Look, sorry for calling you earlier before I went to class, it ju-“

“Asia it’s fine, don’t worry about it. Just try to act as normal as possible, alright?" Asia nodded and started to relax again.  “So, are you excited to see the studio?” Cameron asked once the bus took off down the road.

“Yes!” she squealed.

“Well it is extremely cool and I am sure you will love it”

“Wait, how do you know what it looks like?” Asia asked him.

Cameron chuckled “I may or may not have visited it before now”. Asia smiled and shook her head. She then looked out the window and watched the trees and cars that passed by.

The bus finally arrived at the studio around 9:40 and all the dancers filed out of the bus and walked towards the entrance. So You Think You Have What It Takes the glass door read. Everyone stood there excitedly, but Asia felt that she was more excited than everyone else. “Alright guys, please listen up” Edwards said making his way to the front. “Daniel and Samantha are inside waiting for us. Now, I know you guys are extremely excited but I need you guys to calm yourselves, do you understand?”

“Yes Edwards” everyone replied.

“Good, we are on the same page. Now, please follow me” he said and opened the doors and led everyone into the building. With every step that Asia took, her heart was beating faster and faster. Like a hummingbird who had just had a sip of red-bull. They finally reached a door that said Dancers and Backstage Workers Only and made their way inside. They were then taken backstage and finally, to the dance studio.
