Chapter 3: Please Go With Me

"Raebin, I'm sorry I put you on the spot like that," Baekhyun chased after her.

"It's fine," She turned her head away, annoyed.

"No, it's not," He took her wrist and twirled her around so his arms were around hers and they were both facing each other.

"B-Baekhyun," She squeaked softly.

"Shush, shush," He looked softly into her eyes, tightening his hold a little.

"We have to get to class..." Her heart thumped against her chest, so hard she thought it might break every bone in her body.

"Not just yet," His eyes went from hers to her nose, then her lips.

"But we'll be late," She swallowed and felt it go down painfully slow.

"I have a question for you first," He told her, leaning in close so their noses touched.

"Hey!" Hyosun's cheerful voice called.

The two looked over to see Hyosun standing there, a little grin spread across the left side of her face.

"Uh," Baekhyun looked at Raebin, then at the girl who had interrupted them again.

"So you heard about the party?" She asked. "And you finished with the papers?"

Raebin and Baekhyun nodded in response.

"Great!" The girl sped away.

"Ok then," Baekhyun chuckled. "Now..."

"Baekhyun," She grumbled. "Please, we have class."

"Just quickly," He hugged her closer.

"Fine," She sighed. "What is it?"

At this point, she wasn't flustered. She was just annoyed.

"Will you go to the party with me?"

"Pfft," She pushed him away. "We already went over this."

"No, I'm serious," He replied earnestly. "Please go with me."

"Why are you asking me? Why not ask Hyosun? She's much prettier," The girl looked down.

"Because," He poked her cheek. "I like you."

"You don't," She pushed his hand away. "End of this discussion." With that, the girl dragged her feet to class.

"Did you just get rejected?" Hyosun came back over from behind a locker.

Baekhyun sighed. "I don't know."

"I think you did..." She nodded slowly and patted his back.

"Yeah," He looked down. "Did I deserve it?"

"No," Hyosun hugged him warmly. "But give her a little time."

"Ok," He looked down.

"Well, you should get to class," She smiled and bowed respectfully before walking away.

Baekhyun sighed and trudged to class.
