Cliffs car was parked in the schools parking lot long before I got there. "What’s up with you Scarlet?! We have been hear for over 30 minutes calling and your  phone was on voicemail!" Cliff shouted. "I am Terribly sorry. It is just that something came up and I had to witness it!" I responded.

Calvin took a look at me from head to toe and said "Yeah does it involve your outfit" More or less, it came out like a snort. He was teasing me. " Actually Calvin I Think Scarlet looks lovely." I smiled at my younger brothers girlfriend. "Thanks Santana. Calvin I like her a lot. She make you look good!" I replied her.

Cliff looked impatient and let out "Enough with the comments. Yes Scarlet looks good. Can you hop in, I have a date with Nicole and I can't be late."  The ride home was short but very interactive .

We planned to hook mum up with this guy that lives some streets away from us. About ten minutes away, Simon Spears multi billionaire. He sponsored the competition Cliff won a yer ago. He grew quite fund of him and usually got in torch with him.

He never met mum but im sure he woud flip at the sight of her. 36 and still has the look of a 20 year old girl. As we approached my house and hopped out of the car as Cliff reversed."Hey mum!" "What's up mother..." "hello Miss Skye!"

My mum lookedat u and whispered loud enough for all of us to hear. "Akward... What do you guys want now?? Yes Santana you can stay over. Today is friday right?" Santana nodded and answered " Thank you very much but that isn't why we greeted you today. 

My mum put down the rag she was using to clean her frame and looked up. "Then this must be interesting. Go on!" She said as she glanced at me."Well you see mum, since the divorce well you have been moody so to clear you mind from father we have set you up on a date." She shook her head and walked up to me. "Are you guys insane! Last time i had a date i was like twenty something and that was with your father. I cannot pull one off again!"

Santana spoke this time. "Sure you can Miss Skye. You are like the hippest mother ever. I cannot pull off a conversation with my mother without goin on at least 4 errands for her and you are so beautiful."

It made my mum blush a little then she nodded in agreement. Simon was meant to pick her up at 8pm and ake her on a date in a highly rated restaurant. It was four now and my mum looked like a mess. Pacing and thinking of what to wear. 

It was 7:40 and mum was all dressed in a stunning black and silver dress with black heels and a silver bag. Her makeup was quite good and so was her long curly red hair. Right before eight the sound of a car pulling in our lawn came to my hearing and apparently everyone else and in no time the doorbell rung.

Simon looked amazing. Much better than he did months ago. "Hello, Simon long time." I said with a smile. I was quite fond of him. He was elegant and sincere and also a generous giver to the poor and needy.

"Hello Darling. Yes it has been quite young. Well dont just stand there give me a big hug. I hear you are the prize student of your school this year." I smiled and ran into his arms. He was the major donner of my school and had to know all the prize students.

"So i see you guys know each other." Mums voice came from over my ears. "Wow. Stunning, you look gorgeous. Hello, nice to meet you i am Simon Spears." He said with one hand put before her. She smiled and took it "and i am Skye Brooke." 

That moment Santana  and Calvin ran down the stairs and my brother ran and hugged Simon.  "It's good to see my kids are quite fond of you!" My mum said, he smiled and nodded. "Oh sorry. I forgot something i have a nephew he lives with me because his parents died in a plane crash. Anyways can he stay here tonight untill im back he said Scarlet is his very good friend."

That statement shocked me. A friend i have got and i didn't realise. It might be a douche that was very interested in my house. I  waited for him to enter. It was Russell. He never told me his parents died. 

"Scarlet now can we talk." He said with his stunning laughing eyes throwing its colours at me. I took in some air and nodded. As soon as the car drove off we all departed. Santana and Calvin to the pool area and Russell and I to the movie room. 

"Ok. I know your hurt. I know you have suffered this for five years but now everythings getting into place. Please just forget  the  past."    "Easy for you to say. You had the most rep in the entire school. Next to Tess anyways." He shot me a quick smile and motioned me with his hands to sit next to him.

I hesitated but gave in afterwards. He faced me inches from my ears and spoke into it "Unlike other girls you are real, pure, a true scarlet." I didn't grab his concept but I just smiled. " Truth be told i have liked you like forever." I spoke head down. I heard a small laugh and looked up quite hurt.

"Trust i know. Tess told me." Those words hurt me. Oh my. The person that stole the pages of my journal. The person was Tess. I started breathing heavily. That no good silly thief. That girls seriously hates her life. What happened today was just the beginning.

By dating Russell not only would i have him. Like i wanted for like my whole life but i will be dating her ex. The guy that dumped her a few hours ago will be mine. I had an evil look on my face. He sensed my mischief. "Ok Scarlet your frightening me now with that look. Anyways so once again can you be my girlfriend?

I smiled and nodded. Yes jackpoint.

Daily my confidence grew and my reasoning matured.
