We began to explore, thunder booming, lightning flashing, trees swaying in the strong gusts of wind outside. For an old, run down, abandoned cottage, it's pretty sturdy, seeing as how it's still standing.
"Hey guys, maybe we should split up? That'd be pretty fun!" This was me. M dumb ass piece of shit. Why would I ever even suggest that in the first place?!
"Yeah, I like that! How about I go with Amy, and you go with John?" Brooke, the one person whose always had my back, would later realize this grave mistake of ours.
"I-I-I-I-I don't know, maybe we should just go home?"
"Come on Amy, ma's always saying we should get out of the house."
"Yes, but THIS isn't what I had in mind..."
And guess what?
We split up.
We fucking SPLIT UP. Who the hell does that?! Amy was right all along. This shit really is just like the horror movies. Only real. And the villains aren't people, nor monsters. What are the villains, you ask? Well, it's only one villain, but I'll tell ya, it's no wonder I needed therapy afterwards...Click. Clack. Click. Clack. Click. Clack.
As John and myself wandered aimlessly through this cottage, we had become greatly surprised in the sheer size of the place. From the outside, it looks so incredibly small and dainty. It was almost as though it was magic...
"Hey Tony, what's the difference between a 'cabin in the woods' and a 'cottage in the forest'?"
"Cabins are mainly used as settings where bad things take place. A cottage is supposedly peaceful. At least, that's what they are if you add 'in the woods' or 'in the forest'. Why?"
"Just curious. Hey, how 'bout we go to McDonalds after this?"
"Sounds like a plan."Now, we never should've made those plans in the first place. It was a mistake. Much like my being left behind, was a so called "accident". Accident my ass.
